The balance of comfort and support is just right—not too firm but not too soft—and I’ve been sleeping better and waking up without aches. I got this mattress to replace a 10+ year old one that was sinking significantly. I have a 3in latex foam topper so I wasn’t much concerned with the comfort, but was surprised that it was still comfortable without it. It makes zero noise; if your bed is squeaking with this mattress, it is 100% your bed frame. I only wish they had reinforced the sides a bit. I don’t hop out of bed, I slip out of bed. The edges give to your weight completely, which makes it easier for things to fall off and makes you feel less stable if you’re sleeping close to the edge. When we first got this mattress during my pregnancy it was ok, no edge support and too plush for my liking, but whatever. Over time and throughout me being pregnant I started to dislike it more and more. I thought it was just me having back pain because I was pregnant, because it isn't dipping or anything. Well it's been over a year now and the mattress is definitely done. The springs are louder and occasionally I can feel a spring in the middle between my fiancé and I, but that's really not the problem. The issue I have is what little firmness it did have is gone now. Maybe the springs wearing out? I'm not sure, but we've rotated this mf like three times, which helped at first, but it's gone back to hurting my lower back and hips.
