The media could not be loaded. I’ve owned the SwagCycle Pro for 2 years now and I absolutely love it. I’ve made some modifications to customize it to fit my lifestyle. FYI... everything was purchased on Amazon. The first thing I had to do is replace the factory seat. It looks cool but I nearly broke my tailbone riding over a bump the first time out. I initially purchased a red gel seat cover that worked great for over a year and then I found the black and red seat with extra cushion. It looks sleek and is very comfortable. I then added a cell phone holder. I went through 3 or 4 different styles until I found a metal one that works great and is durable. The plastic phone holders all broke after a few rides. Of course I had to add my bumps. Can’t ride without my music. The first set of speakers were Zamkol Bluetooth z606. They worked out great until I wanted more bass and louder music. I replaced them with Zamkol z202. They were not louder but had deposed bass than the z606. I still wanted more muscle. I ended up buying Two Soundcore Trance water proof speakers with led light show. These babies are loud with deep bass and when paired, they rattle the earth. You can hear me coming 6 blocks away. I had a police woman pull up to me yesterday asking me to turn the music. I’m no rebel but I do know the law and there is no noise ordinance until 10 PM so I cranked it louder. She just drove off, ha ha. This e-bike/scoooter isn’t perfect. The rear tire consistently gets flats. Not sure why. I’ve replaced the tire whenever the tread gets low but for some strange reason, I end up having to change the inner tube at least twice a month. I’ve gotten really good at it. To prevent my scooter being down I always have at least two 10” inner tubes on hand in my backpack along with the tool necessary to properly change the tire and inner tube. The 12” front tire has not popped. I’m still running on the original tire and inner tube. I also purchased a small stick style hand pump and installed it on the frame of the bike. Another issue I had was the headlamp and horn wire harness getting damaged because the foldable handlebars cut the wires over time. When you fold the handlebars down, this causes stress on the wire harness and it eventually broke. I ended up buying a bike headlamp that has a horn feature. Problem solved. I even bought an additional headlamp and installed it on top of the original headlamp for added safety at night. Together, they are brighter than most cars. The rear fender/mud guard broke when I flipped the bike over to change the inner tube. I can’t find a replacement so I made my own. Overall, I really enjoy riding this bike and I get a lot stares and complements every time I ride. I own a stand up scooter as well; Swagger 3. This is a price of junk. I rode it for two months before it started falling apart. I’m 155-160 pounds and the Swagger 3 could not hold up as advertised. I almost didn’t buy the SwagCycle due the the poor craftsmanship of the Swagger but after doing extensive research, the SwagCycle Pro had the features and specification I wanted so I took a chance. The bike itself is a slightly neat idea. The numbers all sound good. The description makes for something that would also seem good. Well.... just like in the real world... "if it sounds to good to be true.... its not true." Ill put aside the fact that when I bought a " new " one and instead recieved a forwarded used returned one from another customer... how do I know? well aside from the fact that it looked used and was packaged terribly.. The seller didnt even remove the return slip that the customer left in the box! But when you assemble the bike, its fairly simple. For a person who is not educated in anything of the sort? it might present a small issue. If yours was like mine and didnt come with any tools, nor instructions... it would make to be a bit og a problem for people less knowledgable. However after assembling the bike, I decided to do a precheck before riding since it would be the "safer" way to go about things. I tightened all the bolts and nuts that needed it. I made sure to fill the tires with the proper air and straighten out what I could from whatever happened from the previous owner. turned it on and was ready to see if it had a reason why it was returned aside from the cosmetic obvious. I rode it down the street and noticed immediately that it was sluggish and slow. I figured it would have an app so I downloaded it to see if there was settings that needed to be changed so I could keep up with the old person walking with their dog. Well in the app you will find that you are able to change the setting for one thing... that would be the speed. The speed needs to be set to the "top" which is 18mph on my app. Set it to that and off I go. Sluggish... slow... responsiveness is lacking....BUT... when you finally get the thing moving it will be able to get up to speed which was a bit faster than it was from initialling turning it on. Was the speed 18mph? no idea... I have been trying to find the perfect electric travel device and have several right now that I am trying out. Needless to say... my buddy was riding the Acton Quatro and I attempted to take off and hit max speed on the "embarasscycle" and outrun him. Well he didnt even start to go before I hit my top speed and then was able to take off and catch up and blow past me almost immediately. My point is... 18mph? doesnt seem so. That board tops out at around 24mph, yes its faster... but the difference was is someone was going 45 on the freeway and you blew past them in a Buggatti travelling at about 145mph... Comfort on the thing is also a slight issue. The seat is a basic bike seat... so I didnt expect perfection. But the placement of the foot pegs make to be an uncomfortable and unstable ride. Why have the pegs on the front wheels? no idea... but everytime I place the feet there, it seems like the stableness of the ride is extremely effected. Charging time... no idea... never killed the battery because I only rode it about 2 miles before I put it back in the box to return it. If you are looking for a bike like this.... skip this one. ... show more
