This thing is unreal. Never believed so much deep and massive bass could come from a tiny cute package. Definitely stronger at 30hz and above, so this isn’t going to move the walls as much as a larger sub. But I love the sound quality and volume. And it so tiny that I’ve used it for two pool parties outside, where I connected it to my Klipsch The Fives powered speakers for a super portable Bluetooth speaker setup that’s excellent for music. It filled my 160ft wide back yard with full and amazing sound. I’m an audio engineer so I do love good sound quality, and this provides that. The Micro 300 is beautifully designed, produces excellent bass for music, has good onboard controls and a phone app that is better than it should be. For my 14x12 smallish room it is perfect.

I got this to add to my computer that has good stereo speakers. This sub is tiny but it puts out an incredible amount of bass and music is enhanced so much that I have to shake my head. This is my 4th SVS sub and all have been utterly fantastic. I'm running dual 4000's on my home theater and they are also impeccable. Such good products from this company. ... show more

Surely, when it comes to play low frequencies, this elegant micro subwoofer is one of the best of its kinds for a relatively small room (mine: 3 x 4 meters). Its two side woofers, would cancel any harsh vibration. The power of SVS 3000 Micro Subwoofer manifests itself dramatically when you listen to a symphonic music. In other examples, from jazz to guitar ... it expands the musical staging with aesthetic effects. In my small room I have only two active bookshelf JBL speakers easily connected to the subwoofer put at the corner (preamp > subwoofer > speakers). The only shortcoming I found is that ON/OFF button is at the back and there is no indicator on front to know whether the sub is on or off. Also if you do not use the SVS application (via your phone) you have to use the buttons at the back of the sub to adjust them if necessary (in any case, I put the crossover at 80, etc. thus there was no need to turn the sub every time). ... show more

I’m using it in a larger open floor plan room and it still shakes the walls. I’d take two of these over a single larger unit of similar price. Look and build quality are good enough that I use it “near field” and it blends in as a small end table for my low rise sofa.

TLDR: Just buy it. Don't worry about shopping around, or over researching. My experience: Funk? Motown? Hip Hop? Classic Rock? These genres have started getting tons of play in our place ever since my girlfriend discovered she loves them. Why the sudden change? This tiny little cube of magic. She *feels* the music. Super, super, super low frequencies are produced with fidelity, and clean, tight power. Sound pressure changes, and you can feel them. She says it moves her. Its expensive for the value it provides. Not powerful enough to fill a normal sized family room. The controls are confusing in the mobile app. White glossy piano finish looks really great. App connects to the sub automatically.
