Update- I finished my 35th bench for my property. Went through over 2 full pallets of concrete bags. Very happy with the results. Love walking through our woods, seeing and using them. I’ve made 4 benches so far, I m using three 80lbs bags of cement mix. I also made forms for the edges to help these last longer. I coat the inside of the forms with motor oil before putting in the concrete, and I m using scraps of hog fence as rebar, I ll fill the forms halfway up then add the hog fence pieces and fill the forms the rest of the way up. Since there is aggregate in the mix mine are coming out looking aged, which is what we are going for here on my South Texas property. Good luck! ... show more
