Five stars given based completely on my first impression. The first thing I noticed was the construction. This eyepiece feels solid. I love how smooth the twist is when zooming, causing no wobble to my view when adjusting mag. The eye relief is fantastic. I got this specifically to replace an 8-24 zoom that I keep on a simple 90mm f11 achro. I find this 10-30 zoom to be a little more relaxed and a better fit for most of my general observation use with this particular scope. My 90 f11 has become my lazy scope; I keep it ready to grab on a sturdy fluid pan with a zoom eyepiece loaded, and, surprisingly, this beast long scope is very light and portable. I bring this up because an f11 is a "looking through a straw" type of scope. Therefore, I'm not particularly concerned about the relatively narrow fov this eyepiece affords since I only use it on my f11. Back to my first impression, though, besides construction, the reason I'm giving this a five star rating: The first object I looked at through this eyepiece was an early am Saturn. I had never before seen Saturn so crystal sharp in that scope. I didn't even know that my 90 f11 was capable of such a fine view. General seeing that morning probably had more to do with it than the eyepiece, but the eyepiece could easily handle that better seeing. This eyepiece is a great fit for my 90 f11 achro and I am very impressed with the build and image quality.

A good zoom eyepiece for the price. As with any zoom optic, it is always a compromise of quality vs. convenience and this is no exception. However, it is vey handy for casual viewing. As with all the other Svbony products I have purchased, I have been very pleased with the quality and overall value. If your budget is tight and you want to cover a range of eyepieces, I have no reservations recommending this guy right here.

This has become my default eyepiece. Optical quality seems great to my inexperienced eye. Clear and bright.Love not having to change eyepieces to get a closer view.

Excellent value. Although appears large this zoom is not too heavy,and the views are fine. I used this Svbony 10-30 zoom in a 102/660 and 76/1200 both day and night.Have been well pleased with all Svbony purchases.

The zoom capability of this eyepiece is exactly what the seller said. On the other hand, when used with high-power magnifications, the contrast is reduced. Anyway, this was a good purchase considering its cost and functionality.

Eyepiece works on range promised, but eye relief is mediocre, as well as clarity at higher magnifications. Field of view also mediocre. Overall a cheap variable eypiece best suited for a cheap scope when fewer parts are desired.

This is now my most used eyepiece. At 30mm objects are easy to find, then zooming up to 10mm works smoothly and as well as my 10mm - all while not having to change eyepieces.
