We just opened them and set them up. One is fine the other is defective. The bolt hole was not in good placement and when my husband sat on it for the first time it collapsed and broke... We requested a replacement but I guess you get what you get for the price.

We've been testing these in our backyard for a few weeks. They've held up well with heavy rains, and I haven't seen any signs of rust or damage from keeping them outside. You may find these more comfortable with a cushion on top. The back is adjustable, but my family commented that they wished the knee/foot area was also adjustable. Some of use found it a little stiff and uncomfortable. If you like a firm seat, this is for you. ... show more

This adjustable tanning chair is great. It is lightweight and portable. Although I got it for the beach, I set it up in the yard. I added a cushion for a pillow and have been enjoying it since. Since there are two chairs, my dog Milo claimed one. He hops on the chair besides me and relaxes. It is low to the ground and has a large area for him to rest on which he appreciates. I actually use it more than I thought I would and am looking forward to bringing it to the beach. ... show more

Okay, I was excited about these but they are extremely "rinky dinky". I am 110 lbs and I feel like I am going to rip the bottom out and break it. The metal is thin, I feel like we will bend it if we sit on it for too long. They are uncomfortable.

These are great chairs. Easy to set up, adjust, and take apart. Feels sturdy. Very comfortable, the pillow is a nice touch. Love the bright blue color too. The mesh is comfortable and breathable. They are obviously heavier than a regular beach chair because of the well-made construction and just the larger size, but not too heavy that you couldn't carry to the beach. It's nice they have handles for carrying. I didn't see a way for you to fasten the chair together once closed. My only complaint is that the bar that helps adjust it popped out of the hole on one chair while I was adjusting, but it was easy to put back in and didn't affect the functionality otherwise.
