    • Great quality, pretty colors, good value
Wanted to upgrade my crochet hooks to a tapered and more pointy shape, did so thanks to a Christmas gift card lol Was using inline bamboo hooks, but i left like they dragged & i wasn't going as fast as i had with a previous hooks. I really wish companies would quit "improving" items that are perfect to begin with. Aging myself here, but I was surprised with the new hooks. They're still much better than other brands, but the tops as well as the tip of the hook where the yarn is held are much too sharp. I've never had a problem with yarn splitting; now I'm slowed down due to the hook pushing between threads. I'm crocheting a project with the new hook using the same yarn, same pattern that I just completed using an older hook. I didn't have the problem with the older hook. ... show more

    • My favorite brand
Susan Bates crochet hooks are the only brand I will use. They have a better hook design and glide through the loops of yarn smoothly.
