White light illumination is solid, IR pattern is nice too. I like that you don't have to pull the head away from the body like the old M952V to switch between LEDs. The locking function of the M952V has obvious advantages, but for ease of switching, this one wins.

I am so disappointed to have to give this product a poor review. I am a many-times repeat customer of Surefire. That’s why I dug deep to finance this very pricey flashlight. When paired with my Trijicon REAP IR, I could not discern the difference between turning the light off or on. I know it’s on because the flashlight works and I can see the IR glow on the IR setting. Unfortunately, I can even point it straight at the scope and can’t even tell. I prefer to think I didn’t get duped but that’s how I feel…totally duped. Such a Bummer. ... show more

Unmatched quality. Love the pics tinny and mlok mounts for options. Easy to adjust cant and direct. Works great with pressure switch. Lightweight and perfect brightness. A strobe would be nice but not a big deal

I’m giving this a 5 star because it’s an awesome product and is exactly the quality product I expected it to be. Only downside is won’t accept the pressure switch cap from my much older scout light as the inner diameter is slightly smaller in the pro version
