It meets tough IP67 standard to keep out water, mud, snow and dust. VS4 Solenoid (Vented, Submersible, Stabilized, Sealed Socket) has a patented venting feature that allows the solenoid to resist water and releases contact damaging internal condensation. Tri-bar bracket insulated mounts reduces vibration and fatigue. Innovative "Dual Stop" 100% load holding brake design provides zero drag on cable. Located inside the gearbox away from the drum to eliminate heat transfer to the rope.
