recently we were hit by hurricain ian. lost power a lot and used a generator. had a very small battery tv that was not good, so we bought this one, love the size//i tried for ever to put the stand togher im not dumb but this thing made me think i was, the instructions for installing its awful black pictures that blend together. then i realized it had a built in STAND... not mentioned in booklet so if u buy this remember it will stand on its own, thats my only complant great for back up tv or on the road has a lighter tranformer ... show more

The picture and colors are vivid and clear. 1080 in a 14" it will be. I set picture mode to Soft or Standard and audio mode to Movie as the best options imo. Viewing distance 36" straight on. Side to side view is good. Vertical not so good. Works perfect next to the computer monitor and why I purchased. Small TVs are expensive but this one has a good price in the small TV range. Did not get it for the battery feature. Overall satisfied with picture and sound in those modes. Edit: 7 months later July it's hot. The original 12 Volt 1.5 Amp output power adapter overheats and quits indicated by the red light on the TV. Ordered a 12 Volt 3.0 Amp output power adapter that does not heat up after hours of TV viewing unlike the original adapter did. Otherwise still satisfied with the TV.     • This Tv will only last 1 yr
I bought this TV last yr, little over, 1 yr to the day. Since then I’ve had no issues, until now! It’s not the best tv, I did not check it out like I should have when I bought it. The problem The adapter stop charging & is causing a very loud noise while watching the tv, ’Ive had it plugged in the whole time I’ve been using it and have not needed to recharge it I expected this tv to last longer then 1 yr. Contacted Supersonic Electronics Support, I was told it would cost $18.00 for a new adapter needed plus $12.00 shipping total $30.00, & I don't know how much more for the battery change or charge. I don't care! I will not pay them for anything else on this defective tv! I was also told that the model I have may have other problem with the circuit which is why I’m hearing the loud noise. This Tv was bought"NEW" Just to inform others to invest in another brand product tv if you want it to last more than 1 yr. Also, Supersonic customer service is zil & none. They simply want you to pay to service the TV when all it needs is a battery recharge. They won't tell you what you need to know to recharge the battery thing yourself, especially if you know nothing about TV repair, which most people don't! This company, in my opinion are selling these so called recharge able TV's with "so called" rechargable batteries, however, the batteries are defective. They are then charging for service s on TV's with the defective batteries! That's what happened to me. Buyer Beware! ... show more

Advertised as having an LED display. It doesn’t. It has an LCD display. Unless you are looking straight at it, image is washed out. We use is in our kitchen so image isn’t that important. When unpacking, the screen protective film is very hard to get started to peak off. Otherwise it’s OK.

    • Speakers are on the back of tv which doesn't make sense
Decent picture until after a month and contrast wouldn't work. Not bad if you are 3 feet from it but the speakers are on the back and so it is a lot louder . Returned after about a month.
