I bought this because of a long ago back injury that leaves me unable to stand or walk any appreciable distance. Cooking was a seriously painful experience for me. Enter this stool. Assembly, assisted by the cat, went great. All parts fit well and the instructions were easily understood. It's adjustment allows me comfort and the perfect height in the kitchen. Cost a little more than similar models, but it was a solid purchase. That said, I do wish that the wheels, while they function well, I wish that the wheels were made of a softer material, potentially easier on the floor. It's a really nice stool and as said well worth what I paid.

This chair was exactly what I was looking for to use at my digital audio workstation. The box it came in was compact and the parts well wrapped and labeled, there was even an allen key included for those who do not already have an allen key set. Looking at the photos I expected the plastic casters it came with to be low quality plastic affairs and upon receiving the unit my assumption proved correct. Thankfully I had ordered a set of urethane “Ticonn” branded casters when I placed the order. That were well worth the extra $20 and fit perfectly into the chair’s caster recesses. I appreciate this chair and sit comfortable on it everyday while working on audio projects in my home studio. The adjustability and ergonomics are perfect for my sitting style, and I do not have the same issue with the foot rest as other reviewers have noted. Pros: -Well designed minimally styled drafting chair that looks great in black. -Wide range of heights for different tasks and positions. -Plush seat pad is comfortable even with prolonged use. Cons: -Horrible stock plastic casters.

The Superjare stool chair is easy to assemble, sturdy, and stable yet light. The wheels roll smoothly on carpet, the foot rest does not slide down, the pneumatic chairlift works well, and the seat cushion is comfortable. I have a major complaint and a more minor complaint about the stool chair. The major complaint is that there is an about two-inch gap between the back rest and one’s back if one sits in the middle of the seat, which will probably cause lower-back problems if one sits for a long time. The back rest is too small for a back cushion to strap around the back rest and thereby not to move around. Nevertheless, sitting on the stool chair is comfortable when one uses a back cushion that is about two inches thick in the center and is held in place by lightly pressing the lower back against the back cushion. The back rest should be at the end of the seat so that one’s back touches the back rest when one sits in the middle of the seat. The more minor complaint is that the back rest should be about 1-2 inches higher in order to contour better with the lower back of a guy of average height (about 5 ft 10 in). With these two simple design changes, I would have rated the Superjare stool chair five stars instead of four stars.

I purchased this chair for my garage to sit down while I worked off my mobile workbench. Seat cushion is very comfortable and raising and lowering the chair is easy. Be careful with the round ring footrest when getting off the chair, meaning don't stand on it and get off the chair as its not to sturdy. It took me around 30min to build the chair as I took my time and read the instructions thoroughly, also take your time and put the screws in slowly. The hardest part was connecting the back support to the metal piece as the instructions did not show front or back label on it, or a picture of the whole back support piece so you knew what was front or back. You will eventually figure it out as it can be only one way or the other. Overall, I am very pleased, satisfied with this chair. I totally recommend!

I got the chair as a christmas gift for my dad and the chair itself was good, comfy and served its purpose but only a month in and the major problem was the foot rest. I noticed when I put it together for him that the bolt was loose but I figured it was because I didn’t tighten it enough. It isn’t sturdy and kept falling down. My dad had to get a new chair all together because the footrest wouldn’t stay up, no matter how tight we made the foot rest bolt. Disappointing for how much I paid for it.

I love to cook and bake. Unfortunately, my back doesn't agree with this hobby of mine. I wanted a mobile chair with varying degrees of height to scoot around my kitchen with. This was just what I needed. Comfortable seating, decent wheels, doesn't take a lot of space. After using for a while, I've elected to remove the back support. Oh, and extra parts! I dropped a bolt that will never be found in this life time. Thank goodness for an extra! Allen wrench included was very much appreciated!
