Even after laundering it retained its shape and beautiful plum color. I live in NE Central Florida right on the beach. This blanket is soft, lightweight, all natural cotton fiber, but when the temperature dropped to 33° outside, and a perfect HVAC maintained 63° inside for overnight sleeping, I was warm and comfortable beneath this blanket and 100% cotton, 400 thread count top sheet. I like this blanket, I am actually using it as a bedspread. It's not a "perfect" rectangle and that bugs me when I fold it. lol ( are any of em?) One side of bed is against wall, so maybe it would look wonky on that side but still, it's a good blankee and the color is almost the exact same, I think that is not common. Really nice summer blanket will work well for layering in winter. I really like it, it doesn't tangle up around my legs but is soft. I wanted this type of weave to minimize snags with cats. So far its very nice, pretty. The blue leans a bit toward aqua but is blue.

I ordered this blanket for my guest room as a lighter weight alternative to a regular blanket during the warmer months. I particularly liked the basket-weave pattern as the blanket will be exposed. The pictures indicated that the color would be a nice ivory and not so yellow as many "ivory" items are. I took the blanket directly from the packaging and put it on the bed. There was no odor at all. The blanket is not as soft as I was expecting. However, I was very pleased with the texture and color until I looked closer. There was a SNAG right out of the package. See photos. I am not at all pleased with the quality, but the overall appearance is nice, so I am giving it a three star rating. ... show more

I needed a summer weight blanket that would cover our king sized bed enough that neither of us would get short-sheeted at night since we both sleep on our respective edges of the bed and we have a couple of small dogs that sleep on top of the covers between us. I believe this blanket will work. I included a picture of the overhang with my review. It shows 14" on this side of the bed. I measured the other side and discovered I didn't get it exactly even so the other side has a 16" overhang. The thickness and weight of the blanket is perfect for our Spring - Fall needs. Its a summer blanket that is of definite quality and we love the basket weave pattern! In fact, I like it so much I will likely go ahead and purchase another one in a different color to be able to change up the look of the bed. I would highly recommend purchasing this blanket. P.S. Due to the lighting in our bedroom, the two pictures give the appearance of two different colors. The distant picture of the full bed is a truer representation of the Sage color blanket I purchased. ... show more
