  • Well made
I purchased two, one for me and one for my sister. The snow thrower is well made, easy to put together and easy to maneuver. My sister had snow and it worked great to clear her decks. I am waiting to see how it does for my patio and sidewalk.

  • Mixed feelings about this
SuperHandy Electric Snow Thrower Adjustable Angle 17" Clearing Width 5.7" Intake Height 23' ft Throw Curved Serrated Blade 48V-2Ah Battery Portable Wheels Easy Maneuver Safety Switches Comfort Handle It works and I love the fact that it's rechargeable and is very portable. It's easy to use and handles comfortably. I'm short and it's harder for me to use one of those larger snow blowers that take up a ton of room. However, it really reminds me and sort of works like a toy. While it blows a decent amount of snow for it's size, it would take me a month to clear my driveway with it if we get more than an inch or two. We live in the northeast and we get a lot of snow over the course of a winter. I used it a few days ago to just clear a pathway after it snowed a couple inches and it did a reasonably good job but took a really long time. I would recommend if you have very little space you need to clear and or you don't have a ton of space in your home to store a full size snow blower. ... show more

  • Light and Easy to use
So got this back before the start of our winter in hopes of getting a true blizzard here in Maryland and that has yet to happen. We were expected to have snow this past weekend, but somehow that didn't happen. So, my friends though who lived about an hour from me got hit hard so what did I do? I threw this in the back of my Acadia and drove up there just to use it. So, for starters loading it in the back of my truck was super easy! As it's not very heavy! Out of the box easy to get up and running. They got about 5-8 inches of snow. I was able to easily and quickly clear the entire path of their walkway and driveway in under an hour! It maneuvers very quickly and easily. It wasn't so heavy as I was able to pick it up by myself and then I also had my ten year old pick it up twice without him complaining as he typically does. For the price, how light it is, and how easy it is to use I am sold on this. I don't think you will be outside using it if you got a blizzard but for the amount of snow we do get, it works out perfectly. ... show more

  • A shovel with some power!
The media could not be loaded. I’ve had this product for a bit but was waiting to test it out with a meaningful snowfall. We had some relatively light snow but there were drifts of several inches on our driveway/walkways and this made quick time in getting it cleared! Positive highlights: - Fairly lightweight and easy to operate (can even do it one-handed. - Easy to setup out of the box. - Lots of clearing power (surprising amount, actually). Some things to consider: - It is fairly loud (not any louder than any other snowblower I’ve used, but definitely louder than expected for battery operated unit). - Awkward to walk behind, but I needed up just walking alongside it and worked well. Overall - this did great at clearing some lighter snow under 6 inches. It seems like a great option when the snow may not justify a full snowblower but you want to clear your driveway/walkways quickly. ... show more

  • The wheels won't attach!
Product was easy to assemble, until the wheels. Metal axel plate with wheels and 4 screws. Nothing in the housing for screws to attach to. Spent a week back and fourth emails with Super Handy. Provided order number as well as pics of the issue. They could not resolve it. I returned the machine to Amazon today ... show more

  • Lightweight, and easy to assemble
When I first got this box, it came in a rather small box, smaller than I expected. I was surprised it was able to fit in there. It was fairly light, and that's also what tripped me up. When I opened it up, it was very easy to assemble and I tried it around in my garage and it was fairly easy to move around. It seems like it would do a great job, but it hasn't snowed here in the PNW just yet, so I haven't had a chance to fully test it. I'm kind of looking forward to some snow so I can use it instead of shoveling. ... show more

  • Looks great, but, failed miserably! Then... work pretty good!
This SuperHandy Electric Snow Thrower was easy to take out of the box and put together. It is relatively lightweight and only the wheels had to be screwed together. The device seems to have a lot of power and runs well. I am updating this review on 1-7-24. Now that the Boston area has received its first snow I was able to actually use this device! And it failed miserably! It lasted a whole of ten seconds. Then the wet snow caused it to shut down and I couldn't get it to restart. The real problem was that there were only a couple of inches of wet snow. So, I went to the garage and retrieved my shovel as usual. For the longest time I could not get the machine to work, I couldn't even move the black safety switch and wondered if it was permanently broken. Finally, I removed the battery and looked again at the plastic blade and noticed some icy snow along the side of the blade. I tapped the thing on the floor some of the icy snow fell out and reinserted the battery and it started up again! since it had continued snowing for a couple of hours from the time I first tried it I took it out for another test, not expecting much, but, to my surprise it worked this time! Areas on the driveway where I would have tired myself out but were flat, it went through just fine. The icy snow was still under the new lighter snow on top, but it went through it easy. Then I used it on the incline which had more of the icy snow because I hadn't removed it previously. So, it would go through it then stop and I'd start up again and that way I got through most of the incline of the driveway. The only thing I will really have to use the shovel on is the plowed snow at the bottom of the driveway because this snow thrower can't manage that. So, much better performance than earlier! ... show more
