The media could not be loaded. I love this Sunyear hammock! I bought a green one and it only took about five minutes to set it up in my backyard. The design is simple and efficient. Simply wrap one end around a tree or pole and run the other end through the loop, attach the hammock via carabiner, and do the same to the other side. Adjust the height accordingly by utilizing any of the loops stitched into the straps, and it’s ready to relax in. It’s so light at 1.8 pounds that I’m going to take it hiking when I have time to relax somewhere with a nice view. It is perfect for reading, cloud/star gazing and taking naps. Really decent hammock. No major complaints. I have an Eno hammock and got this one for backup. I trust the straps and it seems pretty sturdy. My one minor complaint is that it picks up oily stains and holds on to them. I used the bunched up material as a pillow the one day and the oil for my face has permanently stained it. Hammocks are made to get dirty and this doesn't stop me from using it but it is something to note. ... show more

Easy to install...love how compact it is...not sure it'd be very comfortable for two if you were very big people at all. Seems sturdy although light.kinda wish i had just got a one person size cause when it's just me in it, it folds up and almost cocoons me in it.

The fabric used for this hammock is very synthetic/plastic like. It does not encourage you to sleep on it, looks like it could hold heat inside, not for warm climate.

Though it took me a bit to figure out the straps (There is a video but I didn't have service to watch it again) overall it is a pretty nice hammock. Roomy and comfortable and seems to hold up quite well.

    • Great Hammock but bad for Sleeping in.
This is a great casual hammock. Although I am not a hammock expert, I have used a fair share of different ones. This hammock is great for enjoying and relaxing during the day, but is bad for sleeping in. The hammock is built so that there are two stitching lines on the hammock. These lines are placed at certain spots that make the hammock less of a cup shape and more of a straight shape. This makes it so that blankets and other sleeping accessories fall out easily or could if u move in your sleep during the night. Only reason I am giving it 3 stars is because in the pictures it appears that the stitching lines are further apart when in real life, the lines are at about 1/3 marks of the hammock. I was looking for a smaller hammock for park use, & this works great. I’m 6’3 & 230lbs, & it’s a bit small, but that’s what I wanted. I like that it comes with everything you need for a basic packable hang. The picture looked black & blue, but it’s a charcoal grey...not that I’m bothered by it.
