This cot was truly a game changer. My hips couldn’t take another camping trip of sleeping on the ground. Bought 2 of these and they are great. Sure the cushion isn’t as plush as the pictures make it look but that doesn’t matter. I’ve never slept so comfortably in a tent. With a sleeping bag it’s like sleeping on a cloud. Helps so much for side sleeping too. Extremely easy to set up and tear down. It’s basically like a folding chair but sturdier. Only con is the size, due to storage reasons. They took up a good amount of space in the car, especially with the cushions. But it was worth it to sleep like royalty in a tent!

This cot is long enough for me at 6'1". It is comfortable, too. The pad is reversible and functions adequately. It is stable enough to hold my weight. It sets up quickly. It is the lack of attention to other details... Like getting the thing out of the cheap shipping box. That took two people. Neither the cot nor the pad was in the carry bag. That is because the cot fits the bag, or the pad fits the bag, but not the two together.

I am in my 60’s and have been camping my whole life. I knew from other reviews that the pad wouldn’t be helpful. So, I bought a twin sized memory foam pad in 1 1/2”. I should’ve bought at least 2” I guess. I put my sleeping bag on top and it was actually fairly comfortable. The cot was pretty easy to set up, just had to press down really hard on the ends once the middle is flat. The weight is good too. I’m short so the size was perfect for me. The pad would not fit into the bag with the cot, but since I wasn’t going to use it it wasn’t a problem. Definitely a good value and appears to be well built.

The cot, itself, seems very sturdy and is easy to fold and unfold. The mattress is pretty thin, but feels like it'll be comfortable enough. So far, my only complaint is the carry bag. It will not fit both the cot *and* the mattress. I tried and busted the seam on the bag slightly. I would think they would provide a way to carry BOTH components of the purchase. As it is, you'd have to put the mattress in a separate bag to keep it clean and contained before assembly.

I’m giving this product, the ZENPETIO Oversized XXL Folding Camping Cot, 5 stars based just on how nice it looks. In other words, I haven’t tried to sleep on it. But I ordered this EXTRA wide model to serve as a spare bed. I’ve run out of guest beds. If I could de-clutter, I’d have access to 4 additional twin beds but…. Anyhoo, I had a slew of guests arriving recently and wasn’t sure who was sleeping with whom so I ordered this cot to use as my bed out in my workshop. After I ordered it, I received notification that the item could not be delivered in time for my impending guests’ arrival(s) so I figured I’d come up with some other arrangement and let the cot arrive whenever it did. To my surprise and delight, the order suddenly was in motion and I got the cot weeks earlier than originally anticipated. But then I learned who was sleeping with whom amongst my visitors and I suddenly had ample bed space. But the ZENPETIO Oversized XXL Folding Camping Cot seems very comfortable and as I am a big galoot, that’s saying something. I read so many reviews of these kinds of cots which come with a modest “mattress” and so many reviewers moan and complain about the thickness (or lack thereof) of the mattress. Well, for heaven’s sake people, it’s a camping cot not a Sealy Posturepedic! But I digress…. Once I’ve actually had the opportunity to sleep on the cot, I will hasten back to this review to update based on my nocturnal experience. That may be soon as another slew of friends/relatives are descending upon my household for Turkey Day and, once again, I’m not sure who’s sleeping with whom.

🐸 Very sturdy and EASY to set up~. The mattress pad IS a bit on the thin and flimsy side but IT STILL HELPS. The pad is also reversible as well with dual shades of PINK to support breast cancer awareness symbolically. 🩷 I also cannot afford a real bed right now and I am a teeny bit heavy in terms of MUSCLE WEIGHT which is heavier than fat yet this has supported me for a few weeks now, not dropping despite me laying and sitting on it all day.
