The hammock is decently made. The biners included are of questionable quality... me being over 6ft 275 lbs, I wanted to make sure I didn't wake up on the ground so I swapped them for lightweight climbing rated ones. The straps, albeit short, are of good quality. I added some rope to my kit to allow greater choice of locations. A downside for me is that the bug net is always hanging in my face. I use the bungee Ridgeline in the hammock to wrap the net and keep it off me so skeeters can't get me through it. I used this in summer at Ocala Nat. Forest and it held up well to the bugs there, also doused it with permethrin. If I would change anything, I'd use a Ridgeline system for the rain fly and add some sort of attachment points for the net so it doesn't lay on my face and body.

1 you need to subtract 1 to 2 ft from any hammock just info for buyers don't need to get this hammock but very recmendable 2 the added supplies made it 5 stars but hammock itself the hammock and rain fly are 4 stars 3 i wish it could be eayser to use a 1 person tent i am in boy scouts so personly i expect a lot of use from it we will se if its sturdy over time 4 the pillow is no extra compared to other hammocks and survival bracelet are 20 dollars by themself and eyemask never experinced needed one but for some people is a must have i wish that bungee or strechy rope was just paracord not just 2 pices i added my own paracord to the bag but you can work without it

This is a great hammock. I bought two, one for my son and one for me for our 4 day kayaking trip in Missouri. The material is comfortable, straps are strong, compact packaging, sleeps very comfortable, easy assembly, and looks beautiful. My only concern is that the rain fly might be a little too small if it were to rain? I didn't get the opportunity to put that part to use but it barely covers the sleeping part so I think someone may have issues if it were to rain? Not sure though. I am happy with this purchase and wanted to share my experience with anyone else who was deciding for themselves if they should get it or not.

It's really comfy and the bug net works well. The rain tarp is a bit weird how it's set up. My bf said a 1-man hammock actually fits one American female, and a 2-man hammock is 1 American male. He's 6'1" im 5'4" I fit great. It is more comfortable than other 1 person hammocks I've slept and relaxed in.

Well I have used this a handful of times now. It is definitely light weight. And can store in a day trip bag well. About the size of a large can of soup after compressed down. Sets up in a matter of minutes. I can have it up and ready to relaxe on in about 4 minutes 6 with tie downs the only complaint I have and I guess it's not really a complaint I wish the material was just a smidge thicker or less breathable. A cold guess of wind comes and you feel it push through. Definitely need a blanket when laying on it to sleep at night camping.

Some things that really need to be addressed: 1. This is NOT a double hammock, which is how it was advertised. Even as a single, it would be small for some adults. I would not have bought it if I had known this would be a single. 2. The tree straps are not adjustable, which makes it hard to hang on trees that are close together. That was an oversight on my part though. I should have looked more closely at the pictures 3. We just got it today and the zipper has already come off the end because it doesn't have a zipper stop. We got it back on, but really. ***Edit*** The seller contacted me and did send me a replacement hammock which is a double hammock. It's actually a little bigger than a normal double hammock. So, for their customer service alone, I have changed my rating to 3 stars; however, I still stand by my previous assessment which is that they need to edit their advertisement to SINGLE hammock for the size I bought.

We bought 2 of these the camo and the solid green. Camo is on the left green on the right. We have used it twice. Once at camp and it was comfortable for my 8 year old. The other time was when we camped pn the side of the river during a 2 day float. It rained and we kept dry. We even had to put my oldest (11) in with me for a few hours during the worst part of the storm and we were comfortable. Well worth the money. Easy to set up and take down! Plan on getting 2 more for our boys, no more ground camping for us!
