We bought 2 of these the camo and the solid green. Camo is on the left green on the right. We have used it twice. Once at camp and it was comfortable for my 8 year old. The other time was when we camped pn the side of the river during a 2 day float. It rained and we kept dry. We even had to put my oldest (11) in with me for a few hours during the worst part of the storm and we were comfortable. Well worth the money. Easy to set up and take down! Plan on getting 2 more for our boys, no more ground camping for us!

It's really comfy and the bug net works well. The rain tarp is a bit weird how it's set up. My bf said a 1-man hammock actually fits one American female, and a 2-man hammock is 1 American male. He's 6'1" im 5'4" I fit great. It is more comfortable than other 1 person hammocks I've slept and relaxed in.

PROS: The price was GREAT! I bought these for my family and I presumed that when I set it up that it would not hold me. It felt too thin to hold my 250lbs but to my shock it actually did. CONS: The rain tarp are a little smaller (length) than I would like to have had and it is really thin. I would at least add a rain guard spray to it but I actually purchased larger and more robust rain tarps. The straps do not have an easy adjustment so I am using thin ratchet straps.

Well I have used this a handful of times now. It is definitely light weight. And can store in a day trip bag well. About the size of a large can of soup after compressed down. Sets up in a matter of minutes. I can have it up and ready to relaxe on in about 4 minutes 6 with tie downs the only complaint I have and I guess it's not really a complaint I wish the material was just a smidge thicker or less breathable. A cold guess of wind comes and you feel it push through. Definitely need a blanket when laying on it to sleep at night camping.

The hammock is decently made. The biners included are of questionable quality... me being over 6ft 275 lbs, I wanted to make sure I didn't wake up on the ground so I swapped them for lightweight climbing rated ones. The straps, albeit short, are of good quality. I added some rope to my kit to allow greater choice of locations. A downside for me is that the bug net is always hanging in my face. I use the bungee Ridgeline in the hammock to wrap the net and keep it off me so skeeters can't get me through it. I used this in summer at Ocala Nat. Forest and it held up well to the bugs there, also doused it with permethrin. If I would change anything, I'd use a Ridgeline system for the rain fly and add some sort of attachment points for the net so it doesn't lay on my face and body.

1 you need to subtract 1 to 2 ft from any hammock just info for buyers don't need to get this hammock but very recmendable 2 the added supplies made it 5 stars but hammock itself the hammock and rain fly are 4 stars 3 i wish it could be eayser to use a 1 person tent i am in boy scouts so personly i expect a lot of use from it we will se if its sturdy over time 4 the pillow is no extra compared to other hammocks and survival bracelet are 20 dollars by themself and eyemask never experinced needed one but for some people is a must have i wish that bungee or strechy rope was just paracord not just 2 pices i added my own paracord to the bag but you can work without it

Be sure to have something thick between you and the hammock bed material. Mosquitos WILL bite you through the material. The mesh part is great though and will not met anything in; even no-see'ums can't get in. Mosquitos will bite through that part too if you're touching it while using it. There isn't anything to support the mesh either like there is on other versions of this. Be sure to not hang it too tight or you'll end up in a burrito.
