This week, I bought a second cot, because this friend is returning next month with his cousin. Luckily I still have enough memory foam left to cut another pad. I bought this cot a couple years ago for an out-of-state visitor to sleep on in my home office. The cot was easy to set up-- You just slide the bagged item from the box and unfold it. I was worried that this cot would not be sturdy or comfortable, so at the time, I bought a memory foam pad, too, recalling that my camping nights were bearable because of the egg-crate mattress pad I had thrown in the trunk with the rest of my gear. All it needed was a single-sized sheet, blanket, and pillow to look and feel like a bed. To my surprise, my guest said this combo was more comfortable than his bed at home, adding that he did not feel the frame at all. He even sat on it to read a book in the mornings and put on his socks and shoes without the frame tilting or buckling. Although this cot comes with a drawstring storage bag, you can keep it in tip-top shape by storing it in its original shipping box.

I bought the large size because I am 6'7", and it fits me! It is also wider which is nice. The cot is higher off the ground which easier to get into and out of bed, and these old bones appreciate that. It is very sturdy and super comfortable, yet easily folds up into a compact package. It's not for hiking in but for car camping it can't be beat. Good sleep is important and this unit can't be beat! My daughter is going to buy one of these even though she has another brand which is lower to the ground, this one is more comfortable and has the length for the 70lb dog at her feet.

I bought this cot for a easy portable bed that I can move an pack easily. As well as durability an comfort. It turn out to be alright, the mattress is thin and not fluffy. I have slept on it for a couple months now an it's not that durable, I thought it could withstand some serious weight and pull. But one night I was sleeping I was getting up out of bed an the top lining holding it to the frame ripped in the middle of an now slouches in the middle downward. Making it uneven an uncomfortable. Really disappointed an not sure if I'll get another one or replace it with something else.

What a great set of camping cots! We got these because they are longer than most and say they hold up to 800 pounds. My 300 pound husband tried it out and sure enough, super comfortable. They are super easy to set up and take down. They come with a storage bag but I wish it was big enough to hold the pad as well. Will have to pack those in their own duffel bag. Can't wait to go camping and use these. Our old bones and size make it hard to get up off the ground so I am sure these will help!!

I replaced a similar cot with this one and this one has the same flaws but easy fixed if you do it when first received. 1. Use blue lock tite on the screws as they will back off. 2. Use 1 1/2 in webbing to reinforce where the tube ends are on the top of the cot( after a time it wears thru the canvas) 3. Where the webbing is on the frame reinforce the stitching on the legs as it will separate after awhile. Since I did this first I believe this cot will last a long time and is worth getting.
