Td:lr- the clock works well, most days I don’t need to use the sound, it’s easy to work and does it’s job. I personally have radio issues tho, so it doesn’t play any stations So I recently got this clock for Christmas, I tend to struggle slightly with waking up in the dark, especially in winter. So when I got this clock I thought “wow, wonder if this will work?” And I can say, it definitely does! The setting up wasn’t to hard and I had fun looking through the options. The colors that the light uses is very pleasant and nice, and the white light is yellow toned so it feels very much like day light when it goes off in the morning. I’ve only been using the clock for maybe a week, but it’s really nice! It’s sleek and just the right size for me, roughy that of a medium salad bowl I’d say. I wake up feeling awake, I don’t really feel like rolling over and going back to bed, since the light it helping regulate my sleep rhythm I believe. Features I enjoy personally: The clock has different colors that make it feel very cozy when I want The night light+ sound feature helps a lot on settling my mind The buttons are easy to identify and use. Things that haven’t worked for me as much, but are still nice: The FM radio, I like the idea of the feature, I just think that the intent doesn’t work quite right, at least not in my room. But that’s really not what I went for in this clock. The display of the time is a cool toned light so that can be sorta unpleasant when I settle in for bed, luckily that display can be turned off and it usual turns on on it’s own. I've been using the Sunrise wake up alarm clock for a few weeks now and I have to say, it's a game-changer. I used to hate waking up to a loud and annoying alarm that would startle me out of my sleep. But with the Sunrise alarm, I wake up gradually and naturally to a soft and warm light that mimics the sunrise. It's like having a mini sunrise in my bedroom every morning. The alarm clock has a lot of features that make it easy to use and customize. You can choose from different colors, brightness levels, and sounds for your sunrise simulation. You can also set multiple alarms for different days of the week, and use the snooze function if you need a few more minutes of sleep. I tried this alarm for a couple weeks. I'd previously used a second-hand older Phillips model but after almost 10 years, the light stopped working and I was unable to find a way to repair it. With short Midwest days arriving soon, I knew I needed an alarm with a light. I also knew I didn't need anything super fancy so gave this alarm a try as a replacement. It worked as advertised. Ultimately, I decided to return it for the following reasons: 1) The time display does have different brightness settings but the major flaw of this clock is using blue-ish white light for the time. Even at the most dim setting, it created a bright glow in my bedroom, so I had to turn the time display off entirely to have a dark room. This meant needing to look at my fitbit if I needed a time check during the night. My previous clock used orange for the time display. It's just a less intrusive night time color. During my trial, I just noticed my frustration growing at not being able to glance at the time. The time display does come on with the daylight lamp as part of the alarm, at medium brightness, so also, every night, I had to turn the time display back off. But, if I wanted a sanity check that my alarm was enabled, I had to flip the display to full brightness and dial it back off to see that the "1" was glowing. I could probably manage with items 2 & 3 on my list and so this design choice is the primary reason I removed one star from my review. A device designed for night should not have anything with white/blue light. It just does not dim enough to compensate for this color selection. 2) I experimented with different daylight lamp brightness settings for the alarm but the initial state is just too bright for me. Again, I'm used to a name brand model that fades up gradually from darkness vs blinking on straight to 20-30% and I think my sensitivity to light is just extra high so this did make a difference for me. It does start at a bold red and simulate the sunrise, progressing to more yellow. I just care more about initial brightness than the color simulation. 3) The alarm audio clips are very low quality and very tin-ny/high treble. I'm not expecting dolby digital by any means but I've had chirping birds/rainforest type sounds on my alarm clocks for almost 30 years and never experienced this poor of audio quality. As mentioned, the clock works as advertised and the other color scapes might have been fun to have but I found I never used them because it was a hassle to even get to the color I wanted and as others have said, the interface is just a little convoluted. I was able to set the alarm and follow the directions and really liked that this had the option for 2 alarms, but the display light color/brightness and initial daylight lamp brightness were just dealbreakers for me and the audio quality pushed me to "return". I ended up finding an open box/scuffed up name brand model with the features I was familiar with for half the price I paid for this product. If you don't need pure darkness to sleep and cannot find an affordable alternative, this would be better than nothing if you also live in a climate where it's pitch dark in the mornings. It's just not right for me!

I bought this wake up light after a disappointing experience with a previous companies wake up clock. This clock is very simple to configure each setting. I love it. The base of the clock is wide and heavy enough to prevent it from falling over easily. You can dim or brighten the light. The sound settings are actually soothing and not annoyingly fake. I haven’t yet figured out how to dim the clock time but I’m sure I will be able to figure that out, because there’s a QR code on the box with a user tutorial! The light slowly brightens before the alarm goes off, which helps me wake up calm and relaxed. I’m currently using the birds sound for waking. I do not use the FM radio feature, nor find it a useful inclusion in the product. There are only a few radio stations that I use and I would not want to wake up to any of them. Clearly, that’s my personal preference. Overall, I am very pleased with the aesthetics and function of this product, and would highly recommend it.

I highly recommend this product!! My fiancé works nights and it’s the only thing that puts him to sleep (with multiple noise settings) and the only thing to wake him up (progressive lighting). We can’t sleep without it! As a bonus it looks super sleek and fits nicely on the nightstand!!
