Finally got a chance to install and try out this light. Easy to install, sizing was as expected, good construction and the night light feature is very nice. Brightness is very good and the light has a clean, simple, modern look. Excellent value, highly recommended.

I can’t take off too many stars, because it honestly works great. My husband said it was easy to install, and it does exactly what it says it’s supposed to do. In fact, he said it was easier to install than he expected. When you first turn in on, you get the bright light. Then if you turn it off and back on again, you get the night light. It works reliably each time, and measures the same size it said in the ad. It also has a low profile, so we thought I’d be good for our living room since we’re wanting to install a projector mount behind it. What we don’t like about it is the tone of the lights, and the brightness. If it had more color changing options we’d totally keep it, but it does not. The daytime light is so bright and cool colored, it looks like a super bright, florescent, office light. It makes our blue walls look even more blue, along with everything else in the room. Then you have the nightlight, which is the complete opposite. It’s so orange it makes the room look weird and doesn’t go with our colors at all. Also if you don’t have a dimmer, it’s much brighter than a normal nightlight. It is compatible with a dimmer however, so we’ve considered getting one to see if we like it better. Ultimately, we decided not to since we really don’t like either colors. I wish both were more of a mix of the two, rather than so extreme on either sides of the spectrum. That, or it had an option for other colors like some other brands. Overall, if you don’t mind the colors it’s a great light! But if you don’t, I recommend looking for a different brand with more color options. ... show more

I absolutely love the versatility of this simple SunRider LED Flush Mount Ceiling Light fixture! It offers a fantastic combination of brightness and convenience. One of my favorite features is the integrated night light: with a double flip of the switch, it dims perfectly to a soft night light, which is incredibly practical for a bedroom or hallway. I was able to remove my old fixture and replace it with this new one in a matter of minutes, literally ten minutes from start to finish. It's incredibly straightforward and doesn't require any complicated wiring. I got this to replace an old closet light fixture and the install was incredibly easy. It has a clever bracket design that allows you to just screw the bracket into the existing light box and then snap the light into place once wired. It was very helpful as our old fixture was near an attic entrance and the bracket design allowed me to move it slightly over, handy considering the light was a little larger than the existing fixture. The wiring was a simple job as the fixture is double insulated. A quick hot to hot and neutral connection and your done, no need for the ground wire.
