This little heater was purchased as a replacement piece when our original one quit working. This unit is slightly shorter than our original but we knew that when we purchased it. We were able to adjust this suitably and are pleased with it. The remote is the best thing about it and is very easy to use. However, the on/off switch on the actual heater must remain in the "on" position to use it, which only makes sense., If I use the remote from my chair, it works perfectly. If my hubby, who is 6'1" tries to use it while he stands, he must be sure his hand is low enough for the signal to reach so he generally bends down a bit. We bought this for our 28 foot trailer back in 2023. Almost two years later and it is still going strong. It was extremely easy to mount in with a couple of screws. The noise is quiet and I can sleep through it. It maintains the temperature of the trailer and thermostat works great. On the plus side, I love the different color options and that we can change the brightness level! The remote is also a plus. I purchased this a replacement insert for a grand fireplace. It fits perfectly. The only issue was the screw holes do not match to connect to back of it so I had to get brackets to secure the fireplace insert to the fireplace. Other than that this fireplace insert is beautiful and functions perfectly. Noise level is low just a faint hum. Love that it has a remote & temperature control for the heat. Would recommend this beautiful fireplace insert. I recommend measuring and measuring again. I got lucky finding this one with the perfect fit. ... show more

The first one I received would not even power on. The second one does not blow out enough air to heat the room. After reading about the product carefully I realize it says it will only heat 5 ft.². Bad purchase.
