Nice metal set, heavy, but on the small side, if your under 5'5" and under 170 lbs it might be fine for you, it kind of looks like a kid set. It does included tools to build but instructions are not very good, make sure the screws have hex on outside. We've only had ours for a week or so and mom went to wash it and washed the paint right off now her white table has black metal showing through it. Never had a problem like that with any outdoor products before, usually paint wears off in about 10 years. ... show more

    • Not Cast Iron
The instructions are fairly simple, and are entirely illustrated—no verbal instructions. It’s really important to assemble with the solid part of the screw in each drilled hole, and the indented part of the screw facing outward. This allows you to Allen wrench each screw really tight. If the “inside” part of the screw is not correctly or completely, the chair easily comes apart. It took us 2x assembling nearly every chair before we could get the wobbles to stop. Good luck. I also didn’t read enough about the product. This is waaaaaay more aluminum than cast iron. Don’t expect a heavy set. It’s pretty light and will likely need a cover to stand up to weather over time. My mom wanted this set forever for her backyard. So I got it for her along with the bench. It took me almost an hour to put together. The tool to put it together came with it which was an Allen wrench and you'll need a Philips screw driver for one part. It was sturdy. Had a couple of parts that had minor scuffs and scratches but aside from that, it's a cute little set, and my mom loves it. It's a good price while on sale. Get the bench to go with it. ... show more

The box it was damaged, It apparently had gotten wet or sat in water. one chair had a couple of scratches. fortunately we had all the parts to put it together. no extras screws or washers for lost or damage. the chairs are much shorter than table and the seats are very small not really comfortable for seating. I liked the heaviness so it won't blow over in the wind ... show more

It looks very nice once it is all put together. It is missing some of the powder coating in areas and the screws used are bright silver. I wish there were caps or something for them to be covered. Additionally, both chairs have a slight wobble. I really want to give it 5 stars, but the missing powder coat and wobbly chairs have dropped it to a 4. ... show more
