Like a lot of people that go to big gyms, I'm used to the Rogue fitness rower that is my only basis for comparison. Between the two I feel like the Sunny rower gives more of a workout because in between pools the counterweight/fan slows down a lot more than the rogue. This means you're not really fighting to maintain the speed so much as you are getting a strong pull every time. For this I feel like it's actually a really great rower and I prefer this to the rogue. The electronics and the little onboard computer are probably why this is significantly cheaper than the Rogue...and I'm fine with that. This is a high quality rower. The pull is smooth and the fan provides a good base level of resistance. It’s quiet minus the whoosh of air with each stroke. put together easily, but not as steady as expected. Meaning, i weigh 260lbs and when trying to keep a steady pace, the entire equipment does slide some. Fan is smaller than expected but overall, does meet the training cardio as its meant for.

The monitor would not go into sleep mode and would drain the batteries. I remove the batteries after use. After 2 months, the rower would not increase resistance. Sunny's response was for me to send videos of the the situation. It took about a month for them to respond. Their response was that it looks like everything is working fine. I did research before purchasing the rower and thought I purchased a good one based on reviews and trade publications recommendations.
