  • Excellent
Color: White Size: 7.5 C Women's
These are very good beginning figure skates. I have spent about twenty hours in them so far, both for skating recreationally on my own and during lessons. It took probably 8 hours or so to break them in. Before that, they were pretty stiff, but you can keep fresh skates tied a bit loosely to help keep them comfortable while you work out that stiffness. I recommend also not tying them all the way up - leave the laces off the last hooks until they are broken in. After the break-in period they have been very comfortable and supportive. I would expect to be able to do just about anything that doesn't involve jumping with these. If you're starting lessons, or have already committed to lessons and need to upgrade to "real" skates, these are a great way to go. ... show more

I love these skates! I used to wear a size 8 in Ridell skates and started having issues with foot cramps so I decided to try different skates. I AM SO GLAD I DID!! I originally ordered a 7c after reading reviews and looking at the size chart but they were small. I returned them and got a 7.5c and they fit like a glove! For size reference I am usually a size 8-8.5 street shoe with a slightly wider foot. The interior of the boot is nice and padded but not overly padded, so my foot feels sturdy and supported in my boot. If you’re on the fence about buying these, go for it! You will not be disappointed. Personally I recommend a half size down from street shoe size. If you have a wider foot like I do, maybe even try your street size if a wide option isn’t available for the boot ... show more

  • Good skates
Color: White Size: 10 B Women's
Overall these are good beginner figure skates for that price point. They do take some time to break in which is a pain, but this is totally normal for ice skates. The leather and blades are good. My one complaint is that I wish they were more narrow. I got a size 10 in the B width. The 9.5 B was way too small and painful even during the try on process while the 10 is just a bit looser width wise than I like. The length is perfect though. These are good skates overall, but I probably would go with a different brand next time because of this. ... show more

  • Excellent entry level skate
Color: White Size: 7.5 C Women's
The pandemic turned me into a recreational skater and these are a great upgrade for me from the bad rentals at the rink. Comfortable but very solid and supportive, and seemed sharp on first use. I might take them to a fitter for fitting and sharpening just to make sure. I’m usually a women’s size 8 medium width, and the 7.5C skate fits perfectly. My longest toes just butterfly graze the tips in bare feet, not discernible with socks on. My heels slip out a little bit, but I have slightly narrow heels. I also have quite high arches and was worried these would pinch and make my feet numb, but had no issues at all after two hours of skating. The only thing I don’t love is that the footbed isn’t glued down and slips around, but that seems like an easy fix. ... show more

  • No regrets. None.
Color: White Size: 9 C Women's
Bought these skates as a step up from recreational skates. I did extensive research because I have wide feet and weak ankles. When I slipped these skates on, there was no comparison to what I had been previously using. They are expensive, but they are quality. I have been breaking them in for a few weeks now, because they are very stiff; they're made of thick leather. The way they cradle my feet and ankles is substantial and strong. I definitely recommend these to beginner figure skaters. ... show more

  • Great beginner skates!
I love these skates! Granted, I'm only a beginner skater, so take my review with a grain of salt. I love how well they glide, and the support of the boot shape. They feel great while practicing on the rink.

  • Great skates!!!
These skates are great! I needed skates to start sounds and a few jumps and they’re working great. They do take a long time to break them in. I’ve been wearing them around the house with guards on to help. It’s been about two weeks since I got them and they’re starting to loosen up and feel right. Just be patient with them. ... show more

  • great skates!
Color: White Size: 6.5 B Women's
i bought these in a 6 1/2 for freestyle skating and open rink sessions. they were quite painful when i first bought them and took quite a while to break in. they do have quite nice stiff ankles but the laces come loose quite easily no matter how tight you tie them because the laces are quite slick. they are good for jumps and i find that i can skate quite quickly in them. my old skates had a toe pick that was slightly higher and when i first got these i constantly was tripping over the picks when entering spins but overall i quite like them they are very nice for what you pay ... show more
