Update: I reached out to the seller to ask about warranty / replacement options. They responded saying they would cover a replacement. I am still waiting for the replacement but the customer service has been very responsive and customer-focused. Original Review: We set up this canopy outside on our deck, it was easy to assemble and looks great. However, a couple weeks after purchase and setup, there was a rainstorm with some wind. The canopy completely snapped from the force of the wind, causing water to pool up inside the canopy which then caused further breakages. If you are planning on using this product only in good weather, then this canopy works great. If you need something that would endure wind and rain, you'd be better off getting something more sturdy that is built for extreme weather conditions.

This was purchased as a gift. It arrived in good time, and was set up within the week for a friend, the recipient. We set up in mildly windy weather, with rain forecast. There had been tornado warnings. Once we knew the worst of the weather was past, according to the forecast, was when we set up this canopy. Three other canopies from another company were already set up. What none of us expected was a sudden deluge and more high winds. All the canopies were holding up well until there was a wind shear. One of the canopies upended, despite being well tethered to the ground, and slammed on top of this new canopy. The new canopy collapsed under the weight. It took four of us, in the wind and heavy rain, to remove the older damaged canopy from the new one, and we expected the worst. The new canopy, this product, was bent over but when we lifted it back into an upright position it seemed fine. Two of the ribs were bent (they may in time prove troublesome) and there were slight rends where the wind had tried to pull the canopy from the Velcro attachments, but overall the canopy survived the wind and the slamming of the other canopy on top of it. We were all quite impressed. If this hadn’t been brand new and a gift I would not have written to the company, but it was and I did. The company responded quite quickly and when they learned what happened offered to send a new canopy top. This was also very impressive. On further discussion about how to possibly reinforce the two bent ribs against potential future issues, they decided to send a whole new canopy. This is above and beyond, and we’re all very grateful. This is good customer service.

First of all I'd like to say that I love this product very much. The quality is very good, easy to install -I did it all by myself- the price is just right..so definitely it's worth buying! The canopy made out of a very sturdy material and does a good job of keeping the sun and light rain off. It was easy to get onto the corners and the velcro held it in place very well. Height adjustment is very simple all you have to do is pushing the orange latches to lower or raise the frame.. I love the wheeled bag it's made out of a heavy duty material, easy to roll and make the life waaay easier. I was hesitant to purchase it first but I'm glad I did it anyways as this canopy improved my quality of life with giving me more access to enjoy my backyard on the rainy NY days as well. Edit: March 2024-Still going strong.

I bought this canopy to use in my craft fair booth. It's fairly easy to set up but definitely cannot be done by one person. It's a bit heavy and awkward but they all seem to be. The quality is very nice and I think that it will last for quite a while.

I used the tent for five hours on one day, with about 45 minutes of light drizzle and no wind near the end of this time. The canopy was not waterproof and had several leaks. I collapsed the frame and transported home, setting it up the next afternoon to completely dry (for about three hours). No wind or rain during this time. Upon returning outside to put the product away, I found three broken supports: two side supports and one main roof support. I find it hard to believe that this product is rated so highly, and it is equally difficult to believe that people have used this product for months before it broke.

High quality sunshade that can withstand the blazing Texas summer sun and heat. I got the Khaki color and it's a great color to "blend in" with the trees and outdoor area to not be such an eyesore. I had it up 24/7 for over a month and so far, it has not faded one bit. Set up is a breeze and can be done with one person. Just a few days ago, I had a freak wind gust that blew it off of its base and broke some of the bars, so I reached out to their CS to see if they could help without knowing what to expect. Within less than one day, I got a response and initiated ordering the replacement parts needed to get my canopy back up ASAP. They were very knowledgeable, willing to help, and I am more than satisfied with the level of high quality customer service I received. The parts came in in just a few days via FedEx. We are not enjoying our canopy again and I will be back to buy more products from SunniMax for all of our outdoor canopy needs. Highly recommend!!!!!! Thank you!!

SUNNIMAX clearly states not to leave the canopy up in in inclement weather. We had a surprise rain shower overnight and water collected in the canopy top. A few struts were damaged under the weight of the water. When I contacted Amazon they told me it was a few days past return date, nothing they could or would do about it and were pretty rude about it. I left a negative review and holy smokes Sunnimax themselves reached out to me and made the situation good! I have to say Sunnimax customer service is second to none. Amazon can learn a lot from them.
