Compared to Prusament PLA, the Sunlu PLA+ 2.0 is ever so slightly less smooth when printed. You can tell the difference in texture by touch, both on the raw filament and printed material, the Sunlu is slightly rougher.The Sunlu PLA also has a very slightly pearlescent look which is interesting. Prints very well out of my Prusa Core One with 0.25 and 0.4mm nozzles. The Sunlu is a little bit more stringy than the Prusament (both straight from the box, undried), producing some very thin and wispy hairs at the edges, but overall the performance is excellent. At ONE THIRD the price of the Prusament this is an amazing product. With cheap fillament you are not necessarily saving money if it constantly gives you troubles, but this one is quite reliable so far, perfect for prototyping or printing large pieces for cheap!

Good filament that’s stronger than regular PLA and the price is really good, too. The filament gets very brittle if not dried, but I have not had any issues with that on printed parts. Print quality has been consistently good.

I have purchased this filament 3 times just for projects and other stuff around the house. I thought it would be stringy so I put it in my dryer and this stuff exceeded my expectations. I just followed the recommendations on the filament and on my printer slicer and it worked great. If you print fast it does get the printer lines but if you have the time to slow things down and do the fuzzy setting it looks like you purchased the stuff from a store. I did not really have a problem with brittleness, weakness, adhesion to the plate, or tangling on the spool. Plus is these come with reusable spools so if you into that, it seems I need to stop collecting them. Easy to use, normal 1kg size spool, good looking prints with correct settings and strong.

I purchase several things on Amazon and was giving pretty in-depth reviews. From this point on, here's the new agenda…. if it works as advertised, is well made, meets or exceeds the description, is a value, and arrives in a fair amount of time, it will get a "star rating" equal to what my expectations were/are. If it doesn't meet these criteria, then I will most definitely and descriptively tell the short comings of the products and you as a consumer will not have to go through the trouble of buying the product without some background knowledge. If the sell pulls that item and relists under another description, I will put the exact same review on the seller's feedback page. I designed and printed custom game pieces for a board game I created. This PLA handled all the small details well and maintained dimensional accuracy throughout the prints. No tangles or feeding issues occurred, and the surface finish was smooth. Each piece fit perfectly in the game board slots. It’s a reliable filament for any detailed project.

I think this is the best filament that Sunlu produces as well as the best overall PLA I've had the chance to use. I am currently printing stuff with a .8mm HF nozzle, using this filament, and hitting 68 mm3 with no visual artifacts from this frankly astronomical flow rate. That works out to almost 300mm/s with this massive nozzle. I'm pretty sure I'm close to hitting the physical limits of my printer (Bambu Lab H2D). Truly amazing speed and quality for such cheap filament. I basically don't see a reason to get any PLA cheaper than this, as it'll definitely be a letdown when compared to what is possible when using this higher quality material.
