Very solid. Would be a little better if it was thinner to accomadate technical playing to hit the lower frets without touching your fingers too much. I have locking nuts so its a little tougher to fit over them and to help stop the strings from ringing out. Makes rhythm sound punchier and more powerful while also enhancing the clarity of individual notes/lead playing and solos. This combined with a quality noise gate will remove 99% of unwanted noise unless its something wrong with your guitar.
