I picked up this SUNLU Wood Color & Green Color PLA filament for a project I’ve been working on for our Cub Scout Day Camp, and it ended up being exactly the color I was hoping for. This year’s camp theme is dinosaurs, and we host a fun 1K race for the kids, so I designed and 3D printed custom medals for all of the participants. I specifically needed a lighter brown tone that would fit the dinosaur theme without looking too dark or muddy, and this filament delivered perfectly. Beyond the color itself, I was really happy with how smoothly it printed on our AD5X printer. The filament fed consistently, adhered well, and produced clean details on the medal designs without giving us issues like stringing or clogging. When you’re printing a larger batch of items for an event, reliability matters just as much as appearance, and this held up well through multiple prints. The finished medals came out looking polished and professional, and the warm wood-toned color added a nice realistic touch to the design. Overall, this has been a great filament for themed projects, decorative prints, or anything where you want a softer natural brown color instead of a standard dark brown PLA. ... show more

This prints beautifully, but it's got a lot of texture to it as it goes into the (Bambu) AMS. On initial loads, it can stick to itself and struggle to rewind. It feels a lot like like a Carbon Fiber filled filament even though it isn't -a curious pre-print texture. But it prints fine and looks great. No printing flaws. The color is rich and doesn't look washed out at all. No stringing or blobbing, so it's obviously clear of moisture on shipping. ... show more

Great color. Problem is the spool was WAY to big for my AD5X. Had trouble it unrolling and staying in. I did put a smaller one and it held it on.

Produces a beautiful product but the wood filament has snapped off in my extruder twice now, so I’ve had to disassemble it down to the gear and remove the snapped off filament with pliers. Doesn’t happen during every print, but has happened twice out of the last 5 prints. Moderate risk, high reward
