This is a good filament just a little disappointed in the color. I was looking for a solid red and this is just slightly translucent, it isn't solid it has some translucence to it. The filament itself works great and we are happy enough with the results just wish the color was a bit brighter/more solid like some other Red filaments we've had. ... show more

This is a review for both the red and the transparent PLA filament. I usually use Bambu filament but I need filament quickly so I ordered the red and transparent filaments. I had decent (not great) results with the Sunlu black PLA filament. I don't think I will be using Sunlu again. The red filament would not adhere to itself and I ended up with unusable prints time after time. I tried adjusting temperature and speed numerous times, but to no avail. I put it in my filament dryer thinking maybe the moisture content was to high. Still failed prints. I finally gave up and used some of my Bambu red PLA that I was almost out of and saving for another project- perfect print first time. The transparent filament worked okay the first couple of times. But, eventually it became brittle and kept breaking in my printer. I had to clear tubes of broken pieces of filament several times before I gave up. I understand filament can be brittle if moisture content is too high (especially transparent filament) but I used it straight out of the dryer. I don't think I will be using Sunlu filament again. I will look for another brand that can fit my needs when I need fialment in a hurry and can't wait for Bambu filament to arrive. ... show more
