Prints great — consistent, strong, and looks nice. Feeds smoothly with minimal tangles and sticks well to PEI or glass (I run a 60°C bed). I get best results around 240°C with a little retraction to cut stringing. Good value for functional black PETG.

Am new to 3D printing and I find this filament excellent. Compared to PLA it is very strong and far less brittle. Top surfaces also finish more finely with the same (.04 mm) nozzle as compared to PLA. Am using a Bambu A1 which now has filament profiles for this an other Sunlu filaments. As an experiment, I printed a small yet detailed small part using both "generic PETG" and "Sunlu PETG" filament presets. In my opinion, the Sunlu preset resulted in a more finely finished product. Print time [seems] to increase by about a third compared to PLA. It adheres very strongly to a textured plate even after it has cooled. My first pieces using this filament are an interlocking and adjustable assembly of my own design. I had to adjust tolerances slightly compared to PLA due to improved dimensional accuracy of the finished product. Addendum: While perhaps a general PETG problem in an open frame machine I find it impossible for use in a multi-color object of even modest size with a wipe tower because the color switch time is so long that the layers do not adhere and you wind up with a fragile slinky around an unconnected core. My results without the wipe tower and adjustments to produce the quickest possible filament change produced a very strong, 100% infill object but the deeply embedded 0.8 mm thick transparent yellow adjustment hash lines in an otherwise black piece were not clear enough to justify the wildly increased production time.

These come wet. I guess the only brand I checked in the past before drying was Elegoo, and putting it in my dry box after opening it it is around 11 or 12 percent, and I always want it below 10 percent when I use it but this in one of the same dry boxes is around 40 percent. Then one of the spools was broken, and one of the reason I got these was for the reusable spools so I can take filament off cardboard spools to put on my empty Bambu spools but now one is broken, and can't use it in my AMS since the side isn't round anymore. They do weigh 1kg though, almost perfect, I weight one of their empty spools with a empty cardboard center and a desiccant pack/plastic bag from one of these spool, tore the weight, then put a full spool on and it is 999 grams, so 1 gram off. The empty cardboard center I used as from Bambu so that might have thrown it off one gram. By the measuring tool on the side it looks like it should be 800 grams but that might be for PLA. A lot of the reviews say these aren't 1kg but I think they are saying that because it looks like it is only 800 grams by the measuring tool on the spool but that is wrong. I have not printed with them yet. I got these and some spool of another brand but these will be dried and used next. I actually need the yellow right away so that is going in my AMS to dry next. I'll update the review then.

Red, White, and WOW! Perfect for Patriotic Prints This SUNLU Patriotic PETG Filament Pack is absolutely awesome! The red, white, and blue spools are vibrant, consistent, and print like a dream. I bought this pack specifically for 4th of July decorations and flag-themed projects, and it totally delivered. The colors are bold and true — the red is rich, the blue is deep and crisp, and the white is clean with no yellowing or streaks. I’ve printed everything from coasters to mini statues to flag-themed keychains, and they all came out looking fantastic. Even multicolor prints layered with different spools turned out beautifully. As for printability — this PETG prints smooth and strong. I ran it at 240°C with a 70°C bed on a glass surface, and adhesion was excellent. No warping, very little stringing, and strong layer bonding. It's a nice balance between the ease of PLA and the strength of PETG, without being overly finicky. Great for patriotic holidays, gifts, or any project where you want to show off the red, white, and blue. Plus, SUNLU’s quality control seems rock solid — no tangles, moisture issues, or odd filament behavior. Highly recommended if you want something festive that also prints like a pro!
