I have been using SUNLU filament across multiple printers for a while now and this spool was exactly what I expected: no drama, no surprises, just good consistent prints. Zero clogs, zero tangles, zero feeding issues. Extrusion was smooth from the first meter to the last. The color came out clean and consistent throughout the spool, which matters more than people give it credit for when you are doing longer or multi-part prints where you need things to match. I will say my setup is pretty dialed in on the moisture side. I run everything through a SUNLU filament dryer before use and then store my spools in airtight containers with humidity monitors inside. So I am not going to pretend I threw this on a printer cold out of the bag and got perfect results. If you are storing filament on a shelf in open air and wondering why you get inconsistent prints or weird surface texture, the filament dryer situation is worth looking into before blaming the brand. That said, SUNLU has been reliable for me across the board and this high speed PLA is a good buy. The price point is fair for the quality you are getting. If you take care of your filament, this stuff will take care of your prints.

This is my third spool of this filament, two in orange and one in purple. This prints brilliantly on my SnapMaker U1, I started with the SnapSpeed PLA profile and then ran several of the Orca tests, tuning the profile. Have used this to print everything from a gridfinity 5x5 case to robot parts. It's fast, strong, and never strings, with a nice finish.

I’ve been using the SUNLU High Speed PLA Filament 1.75mm (Olive Green) and I’m seriously impressed. If you’re printing at higher speeds, this filament really delivers exactly what it promises. First off, the print range of 30mm/s – 600mm/s is no joke. I pushed my printer into higher speed settings and the quality stayed consistent — no layer shifting, no stringing mess, and great layer adhesion. It flows smoothly through the extruder and maintains steady extrusion even during fast movements. The olive green color is rich and clean, perfect for decorative projects like Christmas trees or holiday ornaments. It has a nice matte look that hides layer lines better than some glossy PLAs I’ve used. I’ve been extremely impressed with the SUNLU High Speed PLA filament (2-pack, black and white). I’ve been running both rolls on my Bambu Lab P1S, and the performance has been consistently excellent across the board. This is genuinely top-level quality filament. Right out of the box, the filament is well wound, feeds smoothly, and just works—no tuning headaches. On the P1S, it prints flawlessly with smooth extrusion, clean and consistent layer lines, and zero clogging or stringing issues. I’ve pushed some faster print profiles, and this filament keeps up without any drop in quality, which is exactly what you want from a “high speed” PLA. Both colors look great. The black is deep and rich, and the white is clean and solid with no weird translucency or inconsistency. Finished prints come out with a really nice surface finish that honestly requires minimal post-processing. What really stands out is the reliability. Print after print, it just performs. No surprises, no wasted material, and no babysitting prints. That’s a big deal, especially when you’re running longer jobs or trying to move fast. Overall, this is an easy 5-star filament for me. SUNLU nailed it with this high speed PLA—top-tier quality, excellent performance on the Bambu Lab P1S, and something I’ll definitely keep stocked going forward.

Im really only posting this because the reviews do not adequately portray my experience with this filament. My experience was flippin fantastic! I use flashforge 5m/pro's and the presets in orca worked flawlessly. The color isnt just some gray, its like a deep shiny metal gray and it looks really good if your printing out cosplay stuff(like guns) for its color. iv also covered it in paint and with limited infil and it holds up just as well as any other pla. i had no problem with any of the 4 rolls which i used completely and came back for more but i bought it while it was on sale for far less than it is right now so if it ever gets to around 10$ a kilo again ill 100% be buying more.

This SUNLU high speed PLA has been a game changer for my 3D printing workflow. The speed range it supports is genuinely impressive and the filament delivers on the promise of faster printing without sacrificing quality. I have pushed my Bambu Lab printer into the higher speed ranges with this filament and the prints come out clean with good layer adhesion and minimal stringing. The Sunny Orange color is vibrant and consistent throughout the spool. There are no color shifts or dark spots which can sometimes happen with lesser filaments. The spool is wound neatly and I have not experienced any tangles during printing. Dimensional accuracy has been excellent and I have not needed to adjust my flow rate from normal PLA settings. For anyone using a printer capable of high-speed printing, this is one of the better value options in the high-speed filament category. I will be ordering more colors to test, but based on this spool, SUNLU has made a strong product.

This filament really shines when speed is the priority. It flows smoothly through the nozzle and keeps up with higher print speeds without clogging or stringing issues. The finish comes out clean and consistent, which makes it excellent for quick prototyping. The only drawback I noticed is that it’s a bit less forgiving on fine detail compared to slower, standard PLA. Still, for projects where efficiency matters, it’s a reliable choice that performs well.
