Bought this mostly for Cyan Magenta Yellow White Lithophane pictures and impressed with the quality and blending of the translucent colors to create quite photo accurate images. Adhered perfectly without any clumping, creating perfectly smooth level pictures and then overlaying with textures to really make the colors pop. Highly recommend letting it cool before trying to remove them to prevent warping, unless you are bending them into a rotatable frame. There is a slight smell to it when extruding, so would recommend ventilation. Definitely would buy again! Using with Bambu A1 Mini with AMS Lite.

The media could not be loaded. This SUNLU High Speed Matte PLA has quickly become my go-to filament. It feeds smoothly and consistently, and my prints always come out clean with sharp detail and a nice matte finish. I’ve run it at higher speeds (up to the 600mm/s range) and it holds up beautifully without clogging or stringing. Adhesion is perfect and heats up well. The quality is very reliable; I don’t waste time troubleshooting or reprinting. For anyone looking for a dependable, fast-printing PLA that delivers great results every time, this filament is an easy 5 stars. Did I mention no stringing!?!

I only buy SUNLU PLA+. They have a good range of colors and finishes to chose from. It is quality filament. Plus you also get a reusable spool with every purchase. Similar to Bambu spools.

Before this, I had only printed using Enders pla+ matte and I loved that one. I was able to tune my setting so it printed super smoothly on my Ender 3. Then I was running low and this one was on sale so I took the plunge on buying in bulk and let me just say… I HATED this filament! No matter what settings I adjusted, all my prints came out rough looking. Like, literally they felt very rough. Then I updated my printer to a BambuLab P1S and it was night and day difference. I still hate how it prints on my Ender but on the P1S, it printed so smoothly! I’m going to assume it’s because on the Ender I couldn’t print very fast and this was made to print fast (which is pretty much the default setting on the P1S) but I really don’t know the reason why it printed so differently. That’s the only reason I can’t give it 5 stars. If your printer is capable of faster printing, this prints beautifully but if not, I wouldn’t recommend. I can’t say if it was wet or not when it arrived because I put it in the dryer for several hours before using but there were zero tangles and I had zero adhesion issues on either printer using textured PEI plates. The reusable spool holders are a nice bonus. Also, this is NOT the same as the PLA Classic also advertised as fast printing and matte. This one is a bit lighter (as you can see on one of my attached photos). The bottom of my print was using this filament and the top part was using the PLA Classic. They’re both matte but this one is not as dark.

First off, I am loving the move to the new Sunlu spools. This makes using them between the Bambu A1 and P1S so much easier. I can't wait to switch over all of my mismatched branded filament to Sunlu filament. If Sunlu is reading this — good job on the switch. On to the filament review. Overall, the spool came in the normal Sunlu box. I had no issues with the packaging, and the filament was wound up nicely. So far, I am happy with the filament. I printed a new Nespresso pod holder, and it came out great. I had some very mild stringing, but nothing a heat blower or a couple of hours in the filament dryer won't fix. One of my favorite things so far is the surface finish — it's a beautiful matte, smooth finish. I can almost not see any layer lines. If you are looking for a nice matte PLA filament, I would give this a try. I am planning on picking up a few other colors to test.
