I’ve had a great experience printing with SUNLU High Speed Matte PLA filament. The print quality is excellent — No issues with layer adhesion, prints clean and consistent. Easy to dial in settings when calibrating with your 3d printer. Bed adhesion has been fantastic as well. Prints stick reliably during the job but still release easily once the bed cools, which makes the process smooth and predictable. I’ve also had no issues with moisture, which is always a plus. The filament feeds smoothly and has been very consistent from start to finish without any tangles. The matte finish looks fantastic — it has a beautiful surface with just the right amount of dull gloss, giving prints a clean, professional appearance without looking overly shiny and hiding the layer lines. On top of that, the price is very affordable for the quality you get, making it a great value overall. This is definitely a filament I would buy again and again.

My go to filament from Sunlu. Sunlu's High Speed Matte line is by far my favorite filament to use! Photo attached to show 2 of the matte colors used (black and white), as well as the reviewed mint green. All 3 colors perform the same. Pros: -Flows Great, I have had zero clogs using this filament and ive gone through multiple colors in full 1kg spools. -Prints Smooth, once settings are dialed in for the filament; its as smooth as can be. Very solid with a 15% infill and 2-4 walls. more walls will always make a print sturdier. the filament itself i find is strong enough for most PLA uses. -Good adhesion, I run a 62 bed temp for initial layer then 60 for the rest, my nozzle temp is 220 for first and 215-218 for the rest. zero bed adhesion or layer adhesion issues. -Appearance, buttery smooth feel and a nice even matte coloring. Cons: -Colors, I wish there was a wider variety of colors, an actual purple would be nice as the matte one looks more hot pink than lavender, other shades of colors would be nice. -Bundles, A pick your own bundle that would include 1 black, 1 white and 2 of your choice, or a pick your own 4 pack bundle of 1kg spools I think would make a solid move for Sunlu and provide the end user with more options.

This SUNLU High Speed Matte PLA has quickly become my go-to filament. It feeds smoothly and consistently, and my prints always come out clean with sharp detail and a nice matte finish. I’ve run it at higher speeds (up to the 600mm/s range) and it holds up beautifully without clogging or stringing. Adhesion is perfect and heats up well. The quality is very reliable; I don’t waste time troubleshooting or reprinting. For anyone looking for a dependable, fast-printing PLA that delivers great results every time, this filament is an easy 5 stars. Did I mention no stringing!?!

I am running SUNLU High Speed Matte PLA on a Bambu A1 with AMS Lite, and it performs exactly how a high speed filament should. Rated up to 600mm per second and it keeps up without hesitation. Smooth extrusion, consistent layer stacking, no clogs, no surprises. Hit print and move on with your day. The matte black finish is outstanding. Deep, rich, and clean. It hides layer lines beautifully and gives prints a premium, professional look. Logos stand out. Functional parts look intentional. Decorative prints look like they came off a retail shelf. I ordered this as I want to print some stands for my AMS units for my P1S. I was looking for something that wasn’t shiny and would just blend into the background. I did a quick test print and ran off a Panda KNOMI holder for the P1S. It came out well and supports removed easily. I also bought the Chocolate Matte and that color looks awesome I am looking forward to printing with that. I have some ideas for Halloween to use that. I am going to pick up some other rolls as well. I can see the matte blending in well with some of my projects. I also ran off a quick cord winder. I use these all these time and my friends always ask for a few once they see them. It came out really well. No lines the matte finish was perfect on the sides and it even has a nice reflection of light on the part on the build plate. All in all it’s a solid PLA to print with and worked perfectly out of the box.

Sunlu brand is my primary choice for filament because it performs well and is very competitively priced. I also love the reusable spool and transfer bands that are included. I rarely have to dry it when first opened. It’s good filament and I expect anyone that disagrees simply doesn’t know what makes filament good. Buy it, dry it, and try it. Amazon has a return policy safety net so you have nothing to lose.
