The pla filament is as advertised but the reason for the 3 stars is: The glow in the dark only last about 15 min after sitting in the sun for a couple of hours. I don’t know if that is standard but I was hoping for it to last quite a bit longer. I have changed my review because I found out that if you use a uv light it works much better.

Yeah it’s cool they glow, but the quality of the filament is bad. A piece snapped off as I unwrapped it and my projects came out a spiderweb sort of texture? Not quite solid but not mesh? Overall wouldn’t recommend

This is fine. But it doesn’t work in the A1 AMS lite. It kept getting stuck, even had problems pulling it back by hand. It’s gets stuck in the tubes. I had to use the manual overhead spool. Glow in the dark sounded fun but it doesn’t glow for very long and isn’t the brightness. I do like the small spools. It lets me have a few choices on hand for small projects. Keep the parts cannon loaded! I’m going to look for black light filament next time.

Catastrophic failure

I was very excited about the glow in the dark pack of filament. I have used other Sunlu filament before with good success. The first roll of glow I opened up, it clogged my brand new AD5X (200 hours of printing) after the first level of the first temp tower (so maybe twenty minutes into the first glow print). The clog was actually that the filament jammed in the extruder somehow. I had to take the whole thing apart and really fight to clear it. It seems to have permanently damaged the extruder, because every second print I've tried since this happened has failed. So this was basically catastrophic failure. I'm working with Flashforge customer support for my printer but if I have to buy a new extruder assembly, it's over $150 direct from china right now. I have a lot of other Sunlu filament and I will keep using it, but... maybe you should not buy the glow in the dark set.
