Good little bubbles. My only complaint is that the kids can’t take them off themselves due to buckle - you have to push the sides in (as is typical) but there is also a small button on top that must be pushed at the same time. Also, others often get confused by the additional clasp that adjust the waist size and end up pulling that, thinking it is the buckle. So I frequently have to adjust the waist as they mess it up when trying to remove the bubble. However those are minor complaints and the bubbles function as they should. ... show more

Finding weight / age ranges on swim gear is way harder than it needs to be. The title is a little deceiving by including “ toddlers “. I purchased this for a younger toddler and even though it is on the smaller side it isn’t made for children under the age of 5. Bought these for my 5 and 3 year old nephew. My 5 year old nephew was so scared to get his face in the water that I refused to swim without a floaty but he was outgrowing the ones that go across his chest and on his arms. Within a week of getting this floaty he is now swimming without it. My 3 year old nephew hated the floaty that goes across the chest and on the arms and wanted to swim without it but wasn't quite ready. This trainer was perfect for teaching our little one how to paddle rather than bobbing in the water with a vest. Easily adjustable as their confidence grows and held up well all summer to the pool sessions without issue. The print was a hit with our little one also.

I got one for my 8 year old (75lbs) and within a day the top foam board already broke where the belt is. I’m not sure if it was too tight and her jumping in just put too much pressure on it maybe? We had a smaller one previously that lasted longer until my husband kept throwing my daughter into the pool and again, assuming too much pressure on the foam. My son (5, 50lbs) hasn’t broken his yet, holds him above the water when he’s not feeling too confident. My 3 yr old (25lbs) tried her sister’s (XL) she loved it, but I think the smaller one would work better for her. Circle in second photo is where it is already broken. ... show more
