  • Great simulator screen
Size: 8'4 x 8'4 x 5
The only review you need: There are a couple of minor issues I came across but for value vs cost, hard to find anything better, for that, this gets 5 stars. What I wanted: A golf “cage” with a good impact screen that fits inside a 9 ft wide garage space. This having an 8’4” x 8’4” x 5’ option was perfect. Also wanted something that has sides and a top to help contain mis-hits or bounces. Quality: The cage itself seems very sturdy, made from metal poles. The black material that covers the outside is a thin tarp material. The screen seems very quality, made of a rubbery material and should absorb impacts well. Instructions: As other reviews mentioned, the instructions were lacking a bit, but I went in knowing that and brought my patience. Key notes about the instructions: -Mostly go by the pictures. On the size I got, the instructions incorrectly said to add an extra piece on one of the poles you put together, but the picture was accurate. -I took heed to the comment I saw about not over tightening. Once there was resistance, I just did an extra half turn or so more. -The tarp was eased to put on and secured with velcro. -***When laying out the white screen, if laying out outside or in a garage, make sure you get the correct side up, the other side could get dirty. I made this mistake, had to flip it over, and the screen got a little dirty (I’ll use a steam cleaner later if needed). The side that has Velcro all the way around is the side that needs to be up and that you hit into. There is also a part of the screen that will end up being the bottom, this part will have Velcro on both sides of the screen (for the bottom pad to Velcro to later).*** -It’s nice that it comes with Pads for the back frame that’s exposed in the cage, but I’m not sure this will hold up too well. Initial test with a foam ball, I hit one that went perfectly into the Velcro and got behind the pad. You might need a second person to press the Velcro in from the other side to help seal the Velcro better…that was hard to do from just one side by myself. -Mine also came with an extra square black tarp that had no mention of in the instructions. I realized this goes behind the screen to help with light getting through the back of the screen. There also is a direction this needs to face. The bottom is the side that has NO loops for bungees. I put this on after I stood it up, using a step stool, no issues. -Definitely don’t nudge this right against a wall unless you have padding up. I’m not using the side nets, but I did install one side. Hard to explain how that needs to go, but I got it after a bit. It comes with 2 bags that can Velcro shut. You can put ziplock bags of sand or bean bags in these bags. They just act as weights to hold the net in place. Again, a couple of issues I could see coming up, but don’t let that deter you from getting this. The price point is great. And long term, if the tarp or screen wears out, I think the frame will last a long time, so I can just buy new screens or tarps and size them to the frame. Will try to add a photo later once I have my whole setup complete. ... show more

  • Golf Simulator NICE!
Size: 8'4 x 8'4 x 5
I tried building one myself but in the end this option is more affordable with a superior screen. I don’t think you can find a more affordable one with the same quality. The screen is thick and won’t buckle like a sheet. I actually have a cheap net which I place inside the simulator in case I just want to hit balls. It is easy to put together. The only thing is I would make sure you have the proper “footing” pieces at the base of the net. There are also no instructions about installing the “panel” pieces which cover the metal poles and as others suggested, I would probably buy foam to cover the metal as a direct hit could cause ball to ricochet out forcefully. No complaints and customer service is very responsive and quick. Wouldn’t hesitate to recommend or buy again. ... show more

  • Real nice, Clark
Size: 8'4 x 8'4 x 5
This enclosure is about half the price of comparable enclosures from the main golf sim sites. I took a chance on this and was pleasantly surprised when unboxed it. Everything is included, and while the instructions are lacking, the frame assembled easily enough. The screen is quiet when impacted and the projected image looks good. This is a great option if you’re looking to keep cost down. ... show more

  • Go for it!
Size: 8'4 x 8'4 x 5
Great product. The packaging and delivery were odd. Product rolled up in someone's car (not an amazon driver or delivery person), in a u-haul moving box, and with someone else's name etc on the invoice in the box. All that aside, it's great and works like a charm!

  • Great Setup
Size: 11 x 8'4 x 5
The entire enclosure is SUPER easy to put together by yourself. Very self explanatory. The screen absorbs the hits very well. Not a big bounce back even with driver, so it’s VERY sturdy even in my smaller space. Advice- Doesn’t matter which way the screws are facing when you put the frame bars together. So don’t think you’d ll have to put them facing a certain way. They all get covered up. The screen had some marks on it like it was run over by a bike. Called CS and left a message. They called me back immediately after leaving the message. They’re sending a replacement and gave me a credit for the trouble. Customer service gets an A+ from me. It really is a good set up. I’d order this again without any hesitation. Can’t see myself paying more for something that I don’t think can actually be better from a performance standpoint to putting it together. ... show more

  • Worth it!
Size: 11 x 8'4 x 5
Super impressed. Frame welds are weak on nuts spot welds so don't over tighten when assembling or they will break. Called customer service and they shipped replacement parts right away. Other than that great value. Would buy again. Premium screen (i.e. the most important part)!! Clean and the perfect bounce back. Ball bungees are easy to use. Steam the sides and screen to remove any wrinkles. Looks super professional. ... show more

  • Great Quality, Easy Setup, but Needs Minor Adjustments
Size: 11 x 8'4 x 5
The media could not be loaded. I purchased the 11x8’4”x5’ golf simulator enclosure and am overall very happy with it. It was easy to assemble either solo or with another person, which is always a plus when setting up something of this size. A couple of things to note: 1. Screen Needs a Black Backing: If you’re setting this up near windows, be aware that the screen lets light through, which causes issues with projector visuals, especially with a 5500-lumen projector like mine. I recommend adding a black backing if you have a similar setup to prevent light from washing out the image. 2. Padding Could Be Improved: The padding on the sides is a bit thin, though it did its job well. I accidentally shanked a shot with my 7 iron, and thankfully, it didn’t bounce back. That said, I’m making some modifications and adding extra padding using gutter foam just for peace of mind. One issue I ran into was that the screen arrived dirty, but I’m waiting to hear back from the company regarding a replacement. Hopefully, they’ll provide a clean one soon. Overall, this is a better option compared to the model offered in the Skytrak bundles, so I’m glad I went with this. Just a few tweaks, and it’s perfect! ... show more
