My wife surprised me with this amazing putting mat from Amazon. It's great for practicing between Zoom calls, and the quality is surprisingly good. It has a nice wood finish, is easy to assemble and store, and doesn't take up much space. The mat plays like a fast manicured green. This indoor putting green is just awesome! Perfect for an office or any room in your house. And It provides entertainment for individuals of all ages, even my children finds it enjoyable. Setting up the putting green is incredibly quick and easy. Just unroll the green from the box and slide the backboard into the slots. The ball return consists of these six wooden segments, each about 12 inches long, with magnetic ends, so no screws or fiddling around - they just stick together, though the magnets aren't crazy strong. There are two different hole sizes, so it's suitable for different skill levels. The ball return works no matter which hole you make it in or totally miss the hole. Rainy day?     • A competent and effective training tool

It's a great training tool, and the carpet surface is reasonably good quality. Its run factor is dependent on whether you're setting it on carpet or a hard floor surface, and if either is not perfectly level, it may introduce break into the surface - just something to keep in mind, it's not the fault of the product. The stand for the putter is a nice touch, a feature most other versions of this tool don't have. Personally, I never use it, but that's because I have an even more convenient area to keep my clubs I'm practicing with anyway. I will say, I don't think the curve in the putter holder is aggressive enough, certain putter styles may want to slide/fall off it, but I don't think it's too difficult to figure out what works for your putter. The ball return works fine, but I wish it had a stop instead of a turn like some other versions. This one will have the ball roll back to you, and then turn and deposit the ball back onto the putting surface. If you're like me, you're already lining up your next putt as the first ball runs down the return, so this can interrupt your pace of practice. Another thing is that the return ends before the end of the mat. This may or not matter to you, but if you're repeatedly practicing from the longest distance on the mat, the ball return will end only about 3/4 of the length of the mat (where other versions by other manufacturers will have another length of the ball return to bring it out nearer to the full length - so you could just remove a section in the middle if practicing from a shorter distance. The last potential issue is its value against other versions by more established and endorsed by PGA professionals. At its current price, it's still $40 less than something like Perfect Practice's Perfect Putting Mat, but that one also comes with an alignment mirror, and has the endorsement of PGA pros. Whether that matters to you is your call. Having used both, I haven't noticed a significant difference in roll, but this one was a little more difficult to flatten out (it comes rolled up so it has a desire to bend until it's been set up for a while). It's also a little more difficult to flatten out creases/bumps on this version, but if you have an iron, using that on this will help (as with most other mats of this kind). The placement of where extra balls can be store is a little less convenient on this one, but I usually just leave my practice balls on the mat anyway. ... show more
