together and following directions is pretty bad. I know it has a 5-star rating for ease of assembly, but it was changeling for me. The directions are 5-star because I could assemble it which was a major accomplishment. The larger your hand the more difficult to handle all the pieces together. Anyway, I did get put together, and it looks great but, I couldn’t get the fire going. I assumed I had done something wrong. I had a professional plumber check it out and it turned out that the control panel was defective. The control panel comes assembled so you can’t mess it up. I went on Amazon to contact the seller. The seller gave me the option to get troubleshooting instructions or a return for a full refund. I had already done the troubleshooting, so I selected to return the item. To return you would need to take it apart and repackage it in the original shipping packing which I had already disposed of. I did not want to return it and requested a replacement part in the notes. Someone read the note and responded that the part would be shipped to me. Their representative (Amy) followed up with me multiple times with the status of obtaining the part from the manufacturer. I get a lot of compliments on the fireplace from friends and family. It was easy to put together it took less than an hour. The only thing is it is higher than a normal coffee table. I will have to see how it lasts and having it outside.
