I love this gazebo. There was a lot of research that went into buying this gazebo. This is the same brand of gazebo that Costco sells and the overall design looks great. There’s rails to hang curtains and hook on the skylight to hang and chandelier or hanging planter. The wooden beams are super heavy and sturdy, unlike some of the aluminum ones that seem like they could bend under the weight of the gazebo with time. This is made of cedar wood which is really good for our rainy climate here in Oregon. The one thing I’d recommend is to seal the wood. Also keep in mind that putting this thing together is super labor intensive. It look three strong and savvy guys five hours to assemble it. I ordered the 11x13 model with the galvanized steel roof. Built this Gazebo on a deck. This product is well engineered, well planned, manufacturing is precise making it easier to assemble. It took 4 days (4-6 hrs a day) to assemble with one person with help from second person at certain phases of assembly. There are lots of pieces requiring dozens of screws and bolts which takes time. The time lapse videos don't really help much and anyone who says you can build this gazebo in a day or two using one to two people is stretching the truth imho. The structure is strong and well engineered. A good breeze is required to remain comfortable under the blazing mountain sun even in the shade of the gazebo. ... show more

We love this gazebo! I couldn’t wait to buy it. Took off a star because there were missing pieces upon delivery, but the seller ordered the missing pieces and I received them in a week. Came in 2 big boxes and were packaged well. It took 2 days for one professional person to put it together. It is beautiful day and night.     • Great gazebo, but size is exaggerated & instructions had some errors

When they say 11 x 13, they mean 10 x 12. I had to double check that we ordered the right one because the size was off. Mounting hardware not included. This became a huge back-and-forth trip to Home Depot to get the right hardware (4 trips total) to anchor it down properly. I'd imagine a handier person would have an easy go but as a novice, it would've been nice to have some guidance. The instructions were backwards for the portion on assembling the frame. I'm lucky I caught it when I did, instead of getting to the "attach the braces" part before finding out the holes didn't line up. Perhaps in line with the dimensions being exaggerated, the holes were near fits, but not perfect. The roof frame was quite difficult to fit together; I think they were a millimeter or two too short on a few pieces but I made it work. The plastic lets in way too much heat. It's rippled/textured but lets in 100% of the heat, so much that my phone overheated when left on the table underneath. Some solar-blocking fabric fixed this and still lets in light, though! It's a solid gazebo. Bit of a pain to set up and make the way I want it, but ultimately a good buy. With better instructions (at least for mounting), more neatly fitting pre-drilled holes, and better heat-blocking skylight, I'd say it was perfect. Took me 20ish hours total to assemble by myself, with some help from my wife and a friend for the footers. A handyman with a skilled (and tall) assistant could probably do it in 6-8. ... show more

On the good side, I am almost 80 years old and I was able to assemble the 11x11 Gazebo by myself. You have to use some additional tricks like power company linemen do to support the structure until it is stable... The design and materials are rugged. All parts were received and in good condition. I used an outdoor wood glue to add additional strength. It would have been good to have step by step instructions rather than just pictures. Some bolts and screws should not be tightened until later in the assembly. The "T" tabs that are used to hold the mitered ends of the outer metal roof trim are not strong enough and break off in the process of assembly. I drilled and used metal screws to hold these ends together. All in all....it is an expensive structure that is attractive when completed. Also, it would have been good if the plastic roof panels in the apex of the roof were not colored. If so, it would allow more light which is greatly needed under the steel roof. ... show more

I was able to build this alone in about 7 days. This included staining the wood. You must stain / seal the wood before building or it will last 1/2 as long. I modified 2 of the leg positions so it fit my patio better with out having to buy a smaller one. I also lined the underside so it looks more finished and it radiates less heat from the sun. This Gazebo's roof framing is all steel and that lets you build it by yourself. You are only working with one piece at a time. Not large roof sections that are heavy. The wood framing type of designs require 2 extra Buddys on the roof lifting days. Every hole is predrilled. And the holes are in the exact spot needed. No re-drilling any of them! P.S. I added a Cosmetic liner under to make it look more finished. Its "Bamboo Tatami" material from "Forever Bamboo". One roll was plenty. ... show more
