  • good for short term not for long term
matierials are cheap and weak but if mounted and strapped down can sttand winds within 20-30 mph ,, strapped down meand more than basic steaks ,,, like its tied down to a solid structure (fence or house on mulitiple sides)... if used for 1-2 days at a time its the best investment ... but long term with storms and random winds depending where you live its not the best idea,,, id say it lasts 4 months outside with storms as that the only test I experienced with it (non winter) ... show more

  • Well it doesn't hang well for snow.
I bought this canopy to use on my back patio for my furniture... let's just say that lasted a very short while. The winter storm that came through Texas ravaged this canopy. First, let me say this thing is horribly difficult to put together... The instructions are fine but snapping the poles together was a CHALLENGE. My boyfriend is a 6'4 320 lb football player and he struggled putting these poles together. They need to make this easier to put together. Once we got it put together, the netting did not fit all the way around where we could have each wall zipped up. The netting didn't fit all the way down to the bottom of each pole. However, I figured for $110, what did I expect?! But THEN, the snow came. I live near houston. We didn't get that much snow.. but apparently we got enough to collapse this tent! It literally folded like a piece of paper! It was insane.... the poles bent and fell... everything went to hell. it was awful. I wouldn't recommend buying this canopy unless you're going to live somewhere it doesn't rain, snow, or have any wind whatsoever. In fact, I wouldn't recommend buying it at all. I know I can't get my money back, which is massively frustrating considering I didn't have this a month before it broke. ... show more

  • So worth it
This is an amazing product for the price. You get what you pay for. This is not a heavy duty gazebo. If you need that, you will have to obviously pay much more. If you're looking for a budget friendly gazebo that will block the sun & bugs, you can't go wrong with this. It is very light weight, so be sure to securely tie it down or else it will get blown away by the wind. Loving it! ... show more

  • Great for $100! And for renters, easy setup and take down!
This was a great purchase for $100. I was hesitant after I opened the box because it was not what I expected. I wanted to share some pictures that provides more details than the one here so that you can make a more informed decision. I was disappointed when I opened the box to discover that it was to be constructed with medal poles that were to be inserted into plastic elbow/corner pieces. After we constructed the gazebo it was all shaky, like Bambi on a ice rink, but after I secured the tie down strings and staked them in the ground it was very sturdy. I now love it and thankful I saw it through until the end rather than just closing up the box and sending it back before assembling it. We are also renting our house so this one is great because it can easily be disassembled by pushing in the medal pins, no screws or tools needed. Tip: I do recommend using something medal to push in the pins when assembling because it is hard on the thumbs. I used the outside edge of my pocket knife (knife closed). It was easy to hold and use to press in the medal pins in order to connect each piece. Enjoy! ... show more

  • Great value for the price!
I searched for a while for a similar product in a few different price ranges and this one fit the bill perfectly for the size and overall value. My husband and I put this together in about 2ish hours. The instructions were easy to follow and everything is marked. It even stood the test of a tropical storm recently so I'd say its pretty sturdy! lol That being said, if we lived in an area of the country where it DIDN'T snow during the winter months, this would probably be okay to stay up year around, but not sure it would stand the weather test very well. Overall, great product, exactly as pictured and super affordable. ... show more

  • Will be ok for one season
These used to be made a lot better. Lately we get one season out of them and this one seems to be on track for that, if we are lucky. The stitching is awful and ever since they did away with the added side Velcro tabs (there is one halfway down each side holding the canopy to the pole, but there used to be 3 on each side and taking them away was a huge mistake), they rip to shreds before the summer is even over. Unfortunately my deck is such that I can’t really use anything else. I’d love to get a steel permanent one but it won’t fit so I’m stuck buying a new one of these every damn year! ... show more

  • Did not withstand first storm
This gazebo was ok to put together, but I could tell right away that it was not very sturdy. It was missing one pin as well which made it a little difficult. It is extremely light weight and completely blew over and was destroyed in a storm. the fabric ripped in multiple places and the metal poles were mangled in multiple places as well. Plastic pieces were snapped and it was absolutely not salvageable in any way. I hate to write a bad review because it really was very nice looking and I enjoyed it during the time I had it up! But it did not last and I would like to warn others of this. ... show more
