Don’t accept that. The silly little stickers they put on them are correct - my husband who usually doesn’t read instructions decided he was going to follow them to the “T” and spent hours frustrated that the very small black letter “E” sticker was to go in the front - I convinced him to change it and wow - look at that - things started to line up! Read instructions with a grain of salt! And consider that they give you tools for a reason - don’t decide to use your power tools until you are certain that it is fully together and you just want to “tighten” things. The cushions look ridiculous on these chairs but they came with it, so I really should complain about free l, but I will probably replace. If I ignore how they look- they aren’t bad. 4 stars could o think my husband could have used some patience but the end result was pretty nice for the price. Wish they had a matching table - found another table of same material that has not arrived yet and is the right height - praying that it is the matching black color… ... show more

I got this poly wood chair to replace a stool of similar height (but different design and material) in my classroom that hasn't held up well. The instructions leave a lot to be desired, but all of the pieces are labeled and it goes together pretty much how you think it should. Just pay attention to the orientation of your pieces in relation to the diagrams. If you have a drill or power screwdriver to tighten everything up once it is all put together, that will really lock everything in place. I don't have the strength to do that well on my own. This outdoor chair is made from a composite material that is similar to composite decking. This material is amazing for weather and UV resistance, plus it won't ever rot. Should last a very long time without the need for stain, paint, or any waterproofing that a similar chair made from wood would require. Assembly is straightforward, all parts are labelled, and the fasteners are separated into individual bags. The instructions could be better, they are just black and white line drawings. A few of the steps required figuring out the orientation of the parts because it wasn't clear in the drawing, but it wasn't difficult. Using a hex bit on a power impact driver saves a lot of time, but basic tools are included that would be able to complete the assembly if you don't have any other tools. All fasteners use the same size hex bit, and the nuts all use a 10mm socket or wrench. This chair matches the Sundale Outdoor 39 inch Adirondack Bar Table perfectly, both in color and height. They are made from the same composite material, should both last for many years. ... show more

Living in a rainy climate I really love these recycled plastic chairs. They’re as sturdy as wood but they don’t rot or need painting. I got this for an elderly relative that has trouble getting up from lower chairs. The arms are the perfect leverage to help her get in and out. The taller height of this bar stool height chair makes it a lot easier to stand up. The instructions were not very clear, TIP when assembling the foot rest and bottom braces, make sure the longer edge is in front, it holds the foot rest. Other than the sorely lacking instructions it was easy to assemble. I love the color, it looks like aged cedar. Very comfortable especially with the pretty pillow. It takes a bit of time to assemble the chair. The chairs were the height we wanted - they are sturdy and heavy but roomy, very comfortable and look good on our deck. A good value worth the effort.
