After reading numerous reviews, I was hesitant to purchase this awning. Numerous people indicated the screws broke during installation, some had issues installing it. However, I have actually purchased 3 of these awnings. The directions were very good, detailed, and went thru the installation process systematically from start to finish. I was very impressed, I read thru the directions before doing anything, then started each step as directed, installation was very simple and straight forward. They work great for covering the slide out during camping from sticks, pine cones, leaves etc which can damage the rubber gasket which seals the slide out. Highly recommend this awning, very well made, just follow the directions and enjoy!!

Nicely constructed and looks very slick. Functions perfect and maintains a tight and even appearance when retracted. Straightforward install but pay attention to details. You'll need a second person when hanging on slide out and threading in the trailer side retention rod. (I found one person on ladder one on roof worked best.) On my particular trailer (new Sunset Trail) one of the mounting screws needed to be trimmed after installation so as not to damage seal when slide was in.

It took me awhile to replace my old cover with this new one. But got it installed and it works great. Instructions are good. Just know it might take you a little longer to take down old and replace with new. But i’m 63 and a little slower and stronger than I used to be. Thanks

I honestly can not give a four star for easy install, but I am an Engineer, and I managed to get it done right. Don't go by the pictures the way they mount the holders. What they did not tell you, measure 4" from the mounting bracket to the top of the Camper extender, then mount it. You might be in the frame of the Extender, but that is where it has to be. Looks good, works perfect. The only thing you have to be concerned about is the correct measurments from one end of the door to the other. Give yourself a little more on the measurements and all is good.
