Our new to us motorhome no longer had an awning, so we needed everything. Christmas 2021, my husband and I bit the bullet and gave ourselves an awning from another manufacturer and dealer that cost twice as much. we received a 14 foot roller that took too much space in our garage, but waited for 9 months of backorders for brackets we never received before cancelling and getting return authorizations from that OTHER dealer. Fast forward to Christmas 2022. We decided to try to give each other an awning again for Christmas. We ordered a manual awning from Suncode on Amazon (Awning brand is Awnlux), and couldn't believe our luck when the order showed delivery in about 1 week. They also ship in 2 packages, and we did receive both in that timeframe. We liked the fact that the roller was spliced rather than having to store and lug a 14 foot one until you're ready. Figuring out installation was a little tricky, but there is a book, and a couple of videos. We found the video that's about 10 minutes long the most helpful. We have a tall motorhome, and for us it worked best to put the lower awning brackets on first, then the fabric that attaches to the motorhome on that rail, then install fabric on the roller, the roller on the upper bracket, and then release the tension clips to help raise the roller on the arms. From there you can mark and install the upper brackets. Suncode customer service was very helpful. No phone or email, but we used the Amazon seller messaging 4 times and had answers to each of our questions within one day. They reach out after you place your order to confirm the awning size and color. We responded and asked them to provide shipping information and received a message back with tracking info for both boxes. We asked for a link to the video, which they sent promptly. That was a shorter one for a good overall view of the process. We searched for manufacturer and model on YouTube and found many others. We had a technical question because our motorhome is not flatsided. They asked for pictures and we received a technical answer that we could use an aluminum standoff. We found that in our case putting a single gang aluminum electrical box and cover behind each of the top brackets was an easy fix, as the box had the right dimensions for the top bracket. We'd buy this awning and/or replacement parts from this seller again! It works well and is worth figuring out the installation for the great cost.

This unit directly replaced our A&E awning, which was blown off our RV in a freak wind. Instructions are odd, but there are a number of U-tube vids to check out. It operates a bit differently than A&E but nothing one can't adjust to. We do have a problem with it rolling up properly, as the arms that cover the brace arms when retracted are very close tolerance, and one side or the other usually hangs up. The roller is holding it tight enough to travel though. Overall, it is a great awning, and given that Dometic bought out A&E and has cheapened those awnings like they do with every company that once had a good reputation, Suncode will be my go to company for awnings in the future.

decent awning for price , might get a few years out of frabric not the best quality ,the arms are built well, directions really suck , watch a youtube video , instructions say dont pull pins until install completed as it is pre tensioned ,but shows it in the extended postion not closed postion now have to take apart and wind the spring and re attach, you attach the fabric to a 20ft barrel in closed postion 7 ft in the air , i think 3 stars is pretty generous

I installed this on my tiny house. The quality of the awning itself seems very good.... time will tell. My big issue with this product is the installation instructions that came with it. They left out key information and omitted steps that would make it much easier to install. Don't buy this unless you have previous experience installing these awnings.
