Very good light. I was not given any incentives or rebates for a review. Just my opinion. First, Good pricing, I am a contractor and these were half price of lighting I can buy at my wholesalers. I thought they might be cheap because of that, but they were perfectly fine. Good Quality. I replaced 400 W Halogen wall packs on an industrial building. This light was well made and easy to install. Hinged on the left, opens like a door. Quick connection to 110 v wiring inside. Case was sturdy metal and lens was glass. This light is brighter than a 400 w halogen wall pack but not too bright. There are two circuits inside so if you wanted to, you could leave one unplugged and only use half the light if you thought it was too bright. I love it, great for security. And Yes, it came with a UL label on it. NOTE: This is a MUCH better light than the 80Watt version, which they sell as a direct replacement for the 400 W halogen. The 80 w housing is light weight, difficult to install and easy to crack. The 80W light has pegs on the back that keep it a half inch off the wall. If you are bolting thru the housing you will crack the thin case as you tighten the bolts. Also has a flimsy gasket as someone else mentioned. Strongly do not recommend that one. Spend the extra $50 bucks and get the 120W one, it is so much sturdier. I bought some of both lights but wish I hadn't. See pic, it lights up our parking area like a showroom. Note, they are not as glarey to look as indicated by pictures because the camera creates "stars". Only one complaint, they arrived late (for a prime item). DON'T order a lift or ladder to hang them till they arrive!! ... show more

I'm upgrading from 175 watt metal halide wall packs to these 80 watt LED. These are absolutely wonderful. Not only are they instant on and use less than half the energy, but put out at least double the light. Since I've done a test comparison on one of my car wash bays, I've ordered 12 more and plan to order many more to replace all the lights at all of my locations. Price wise, you can not beat these. Great build quality and the lenses are glass not cheap plastic. Very easy to instal. Not to mention my security cameras will work so much better with the bright lights. Best of all, I won't dread the monthly power bills. Update: We just finished installing new equipment today as well as completely swapping out all the old 175MH with the new 80 watt wall packs. So, here are two more photos side by side. One just has the one test bay with LED and the other is all LED. Also, the photos don't do it justice. It is VERY bright. So much so, I probably could've used the 50 watt ones and it would've been sufficient. ... show more

I bought this to replace a pair of 150w floodlights on the backside of my house. For the money, this is a nice unit. The LEDriver looks standard but the led panel, it looks custom so I'm not sure if it is replaceable. Anyhow, my only beef with the unit is it is fairly thin metal and will flex quite a bit making it difficult to install on surfaces that are not perfectly flat. There is a rubber gasket behind the unit that is quite hard to compress so you almost need to get a recessed junction box In behind it so you can screw down to it and compress the gasket. Then you can use the three screw holes to mount it to the siding or concrete or brick. I didn't have a junction box so I just screwed it to the siding and added washers till it was flat. It is up in the airbaboutv18 feet and shoots a lot of light. Way more than the floodlights. ... show more

These are very bright fixtures. They work great on my house located about 15’ off the ground they provide a very bright daylight white (5000k color temp). I also have the Sunco 120 watt units on other parts of my house at the second floor at 30’ off the ground, again, a very bright white light, lights up my entire yard. I purchased the 80 watt units only because I was so happy with the 120 watt units I mounted 3 years ago. Not a day of trouble with any of them. These are very easy to install, can replace existing standard fixtures with no additional wiring or mount as new. These are awesome units, you can’t go wrong with them, and like I said, not a day of trouble in over 3 years. ... show more

Needed a light to light up our side yard so our dogs could go out in the evening and do their thing, without my wife or myself standing in the rain. Did not want motion detection, wanted a direct line to a switch that we controlled, The light was exactly what we needed, not to much nor to little, I believe purchase of the 100 wt may have been to much for the neighbors, the 80 wt was dead on for coverage, approximately (7500 lm) for an area 50 X 25, looks like daylight, and residual light going beyond that. Per our electrician, easy to install, well made, and if it lives up to it's description, it will be worth every penny spent on it.     • High failure rate.
I purchased six wall packs. The wall pack has a nice exterior, throws out good light but the internal led drivers (power supplies) have a very short life. They are poorly made, very obvious by the cheap sheet metal shroud with sharp edges that houses the potted power internals that are located on the inside of the lighting housing. The manufacturer’s representative was very good about sending me replacement complete lights for free but in the end they quickly failed too. The manufacturer won’t sell you just the power supply replacement units. Until they switch to a reliable driver I won’t buy their lights again. ... show more

Installation is fairly simple. We installed the 80W version at one end of our pool house which encloses a lap pool. We wanted an outdoor rated light due to the humidity the pool generates. It puts out a good amount of light, but because we installed it at about 9 ft off the ground, the light doesn't spread out as much as we'd like. We are going to install the 120W version at the other end of the pool house. These lights are extremely bright so they probably should not be installed in a dense urban setting. We are in the country with 3 acres with no neighbor facing our pool house, else we probably would use something less bright.
