Lightweight and easy to install - hung them with the provided chains to the overhead shelves. All hardware included. Bright lights; nice you can tether them together. Much easier and cheaper than trying to buy tubes for older fixtures (ballast/no ballast, size, wattage, etc.). Had 6 old fixtures in the garage - instead of buying a bunch of tubes, this set of 4 was perfect. Really brightened up a two car garage. ... show more

Reviews had me on the fence about quality. Glad I decided to take the chance though. Ended up buying a total of 14 for my 3 car garage. Zero disappointment!! It’s brighter than an operating room and almost zero shadows. Lights themselves are lightweight and a little flimsy but it’s not like they’re taking any abuse hanging 12ft off the floor. My only complaint is the cords. I wish they were less bulky and easier to hide. My OCD hates how I have to keep them dangling but I’m trying to get over that part by not looking up lol. ... show more

The build quality of these lights is definitely on the cheap side of the spectrum. They are all plastic (and pretty thin plastic at that) and they lack any type of hood or casing. However, no complaints at all about performance -- they light up a room with ease. The 6500K light temp also works great for seed starting, which is the primary way I use these. The units can be easily linked together. I also like that each light comes with a chain and S hooks (in addition to wall anchors for a flush mount). The on/off switch on the cord is also a useful feature that is often lacking in these types of LED shop lights. While these will not stand up well to any sort of bumping or hits compared with more expensive units, once they are hung up they are typically out of harm's way. Thus, I won't mark it down for build quality issues. A good value lighting kit that performs well. ... show more

I purchased these lights about a week ago to put up in my basement. They’re very bright and the 4 lights do a fantastic job lighting up an area that’s about 500 square feet. The install was easy and the lights were easy to connect together. I don’t know how long they’ll last, but for an inexpensive lighting solution, it was worth the risk to try them. Like others have said, the material the lights are made from has very little structural strength and I think they’d be easy to break if they were used in an area where kids play or in a work space where anything is being moved up around the lights. So if you’re looking for something rigid or strong that can handle being bumped or knocked around, these lights would most likely not suit you. But for an area with low risk of being hit with anything, I think they’re worth the price. I’ll post an update at some point, as well. ... show more

I bought a package of these to replace some old fluorescent hanging fixtures in the shop. I didn't want to spend a whole lot of money either. At first I thought these were really not going to work well, they are very lightweight. I was pleasantly surprised at how well these light up and how easy they were to hang. I was so impressed that I bought another package of them and replaced more old fixtures. If I need any more these are the ones I will buy. ... show more

So I own a small tropical fish breeding business and was looking specifically for 6500k spectrum aquarium lights that will support the growth of our best selling plant floating dwarf water lettuce these lights seemed to not only fit the bill but were extremely budget friendly shipping was fast and strikingly no damage to any lights had happened all 4 worked great they are extremely light but for my needs that is perfect the main reason I am leaving a 5 star review is I have had no flickering or dark spots you could install them with dental floss they are so lightweight AND I just had one I was moving fall into the water and submerge almost a foot up the end that has an open 110v plug receptacle while it was plugged in and on I grabbed it as fast as I could but it was under water for nearly 6 seconds and that was a week ago and it never caused any issue or electrocute the nearly 500 guppy fry that were in the tank .......I told my partner we would have to order more lights as I ruined one but I was delighted by the fact I was wrong even though we will still be ordering more for our next expansion!!! ... show more
