Bright lights that could be chained together. Worked perfectly for my basement. They're a little flimsy feeling because there's no metal frame or backing on them unlike a more standard florescent light fixture. These are very bright and work very well. Yes they look cheap and feel very light and cheap. On the other hand being so light makes them easier to left and install and there is less chance of them breaking. I'm not a huge fan of the rocker on/off switch on the power cord but it works fine. It is very useful that they can be linked together and was the main reason I purchased I purchased it, along with the brightness. Although they don't have a traditional cover each bulb is flat on top with some type reflective material which delivers most of the light downward. If it is of extreme importance how they look you MIGHT be disappointed....if not you will love them! ... show more

These are really easy to install. I put four linked in one garage stall. I turned two off because there was an abundance of light. One improvement that could be made is having the outlet remain hot. If you turn of a light, the following lights in the chain also go off. I still think they are great lights. ... show more

I purchased these lights about a week ago to put up in my basement. They’re very bright and the 4 lights do a fantastic job lighting up an area that’s about 500 square feet. The install was easy and the lights were easy to connect together. I don’t know how long they’ll last, but for an inexpensive lighting solution, it was worth the risk to try them. Like others have said, the material the lights are made from has very little structural strength and I think they’d be easy to break if they were used in an area where kids play or in a work space where anything is being moved up around the lights. So if you’re looking for something rigid or strong that can handle being bumped or knocked around, these lights would most likely not suit you. But for an area with low risk of being hit with anything, I think they’re worth the price. I’ll post an update at some point, as well. ... show more

The build quality of these lights is definitely on the cheap side of the spectrum. They are all plastic (and pretty thin plastic at that) and they lack any type of hood or casing. However, no complaints at all about performance -- they light up a room with ease. The 6500K light temp also works great for seed starting, which is the primary way I use these. The units can be easily linked together. I also like that each light comes with a chain and S hooks (in addition to wall anchors for a flush mount). The on/off switch on the cord is also a useful feature that is often lacking in these types of LED shop lights. While these will not stand up well to any sort of bumping or hits compared with more expensive units, once they are hung up they are typically out of harm's way. Thus, I won't mark it down for build quality issues. A good value lighting kit that performs well. ... show more

I was very surprised when the shipment arrived - the size and weight of the box for four (4) 48" light fixtures was extremely light (guess I should have paid more attention when ordering as they are very lightweight plastic). That said, they work great for my situation which is replacing some very old "hanging" fluorescent (2 bulb) fixtures in a garage/work shop. These lights put out very good and bright light and I am certainly pleased with that. I'm not sure they would work for everyone that might intend to use them as "hanging" light fixtures (seems they might look nicer when physically attached to the ceiling) or because of their light weight maybe as under-counter/shelf lighting. I like them for my purposes - but think specially of your lighting situation and if they might work for you. ... show more

They are very bright. It came with all the hardware. It was easy to install and was very light. The length of the cord was adequate to make it to the plug. The only ting I didn't like much was that the build quality seems very flimsy. I feel like these should be worth less than 32 dollars.
