Excellent Garage Lighting with Great Customer Support
Size: 14 HEX with Border
I am extremely pleased with this hexagon garage lighting system. The lights are exceptionally bright and provide outstanding coverage, transforming any space into a well-lit, professional-looking work area. I currently have them installed in my gun safe room, and the illumination is incredible. The 6500K color temperature produces a crisp, daylight-like light that makes it easy to see every detail. When my original order arrived, several of the light sections were damaged. After inspecting the packaging, it was obvious the damage likely occurred during shipping rather than being a manufacturing issue. The box had holes in it, and some of the light tubes had visible dents. I contacted the manufacturer, and they immediately sent out a replacement product without any hassle. The replacement arrived in perfect condition, and all of the lights look great and work flawlessly. One of the features I appreciate most is the flexibility of the system. It includes numerous connectors, mounting options, and extra pieces that allow you to configure the lights in a variety of layouts. This makes it easy to customize the setup for different spaces and future projects. The brightness and quality of these lights have impressed me so much that I am already planning to expand their use throughout my home. In addition to my current setup, I intend to install them in my second garage, workshop, and basement. If the manufacturer ever develops an RGB version, I would absolutely purchase another set for our game room as well. Overall, this is a high-quality lighting system backed by excellent customer service. The combination of exceptional brightness, customizable installation options, expandability, and responsive manufacturer support makes this an easy 5-star product in my book. I highly recommend it to anyone looking to upgrade the lighting in a garage, workshop, detailing bay, basement, or other workspace. (enjoy my nonsense video)

“Professional-Level Garage Lighting"
Size: 14 HEX with Border
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Amazing Garage Light — Super Bright and Easy to Install This MODERN Hexagon Garage Light is very cool and made a huge difference in my garage. I absolutely love it. The brightness is incredible—plenty of light for projects, detailing, or just making the space feel bigger and cleaner. Installation was super easy. I laid everything out on the floor first so I could be sure the layout would be perfectly square when mounted to the ceiling, and that worked perfectly. The light is customizable with different configuration options, but I actually liked the setup straight out of the box. It also comes with a few extra lights and connectors if you want to change the shape later. The connectors are solid and have a locking tab that securely holds each light bar in place. They can also be taken apart by gently pushing on the frame of the light, which is really handy if you ever want to change the configuration or remove it for painting the ceiling, etc. Each connector also has a mounting hole so it can be screwed directly to the ceiling, and the kit includes zip ties as another mounting option — a nice touch that makes installation even easier. Overall, it’s a fantastic value for the money. Super bright, solid construction, easy install, and it really gives the garage a modern, professional look. Highly recommended.

If you are thinking about upgrading your garage or workshop lighting, do not hesitate with this option. These lights deliver excellent value, superior illumination, and support that goes above and beyond.

Aluminum base, work well, lock together tight.
Size: 14 HEX with Border
Ok, last time I review these. I have purchased seven sets of the 14 hex with border and midway through installation I had a question and a problem. The trail of reviews below reflect the lack of response by the company. Well they finally did respond but not through Amazon or their website- I found a link on a leaflet in the box and emailed the company. They did respond, they did clarify my issue and I have now adjusted my 1 star review to 4 stars. Whether they send me a replacement bulb remains to be seen but at least they do follow up on customer service. I like the system, it does have an aluminum base-very thin but aluminum and they do work well. BTW, I have investigated many versions of hex lights and the price ranges from these at the low end to ones that are 6 or even 10 times as expensive. The difference? The other companies claim theirs are superior and sometimes warrantied 5 years instead of two. What is superior? They can't tell me. After texting and emailing 5 different companies and getting no technical information on why they cost so much more, I came to the conclusion that they are not superior, they just cost more and the extended warranty is just factored into the cost. These are pretty good for the money. Final update: There is no customer service- the reviews that say customer service was prompt are incorrect, the sales information refers to 24/7 customer support is incorrect. In fact, following the instructions to either get replacement parts or missing parts state clearly that replacement parts ARE NOT AVAILABLE and that the entire light has to be boxed up and sent back if you need parts. Try that after you install it on a 15 foot garage ceiling. The bulbs are said to last 50 or 60 thousand hours depending on which sales info you believe - that refers to the led, not the led driver which may have a much shorter life and in fact is what usually fails on led systems. Until the company comes clean on their real warranty and be honest about customer service, I suggest do not buy. Update on this: I read a review that said customer service was great and they sent out missing parts right away. I have not been able to contact any customer support, there is no such item on the Modern site and if you go into returns and then to missing/ damaged, you end up not being able to chat or contact anyone. If I am doing something wrong i apologize but as of now CUSTOMER SERVICE DOESN'T EXIST so buy accordingly before you drill dozens of holes in your ceiling. Update 2: I have removed two stars from the rating because of absolutely zero service. I now have a problem with one of the bulbs and no way to order a replacement. If you have a problem with any part of these lights it seems you have to just buy a whole new set. I will keep trying to get in touch with the seller and if this problem resolves I will change my rating but if they don't allow me to contact the seller I may drop to one star. Too bad because all they need to do is respond. Again, if this is my fault I apologize but not yet. I installed this set of 14 hexagons with border on my garage ceiling, some reviews mentioned it can be installed by one person which I did, but wow was it a challenge. You can only assemble a few hexagons at a time because any more than four, it feels like you are going to break them apart. Of course when fastening to the ceiling and half of them are drooping, it is difficult to square them up and if you run a screw in temporarily to hold it in place until the pieces are lined up, then it is practically impossible to remove the screw, drill a hole for the anchor and reinstall the screw because the bracket is now in the way. The screws included are way long which is ok but the anchors are short so they spin out when used together with the screws and trying to drill the sheetrock for the anchor is difficult when the light assy is now in the way and doesn't flex enough to move out of the way. The kit came with two connectors to plug into a receptacle but only one for hard wiring. Oddly, the kit came with too many three way plugs but is short a two way one so I had to use a three way in its place. I tried to order just the one two way so the install would be neat but parts are not available- my only option is to return it and get another kit. Since I already installed it on the ceiling that is not a good option but it highlights the concern that replacement parts are not available- a connector isn't a big deal but if one of the bulbs blows out..... I didn't want to run the power cord across the light so I tried leaving out one of the center struts so I would have two open connectors in the middle of the light assy where my receptacle was and it worked fine- apparently you can power this assy from any of the many terminations- either install a tee in place of a straight connector or a three way in the place of two way and use the extra opening to plug in the power cord. You can also do what I did and leave out one tube and use one of the open ends to plug into the power cord. It has some good points that others have mentioned : the attachment points have either one or two screw holes and they are flush with the part that contacts the ceiling so you can screw them tight; the connectors have a tab that adds some security to the attachment yet allows you to still disassemble if necessary; the ceiling side of the bulbs is thin metal not plastic like the rest of the unit and that seems to add some stiffness. Downside: They make a popping noise as they warm up; the outer perimeter does not connect electrically with the inner so you need two points of power; the installation instructions are minimal; repair/ replacement parts are not available; you really need a laser to install them professionally - not only for squareness but even for the straight runs, the pieces have to be manhandled so they look straight because they are a little flimsy. Overall, they are ok. I put these up as a test for my larger job which will require 4 sets of 14 on a much more difficult install so I am still in the market for a higher quality set that I can buy repair parts for and aren't quite so flimsy.
