I needed to replace about 8 of the 12 can light bulbs in the pool cabana and didn't want mismatched color or brightness so I bought 2 boxes. Brightness and color are good, better than the older incandescent bulbs I was replacing. At this price, it was well worth it and I have several spares for when one or more eventually fails without needing to remember what color temp profile they were or worrying that the new one will stick out as being different. When the led bulbs start burning out in the house, I'll likely be buying more of them for the same reason. I wasted a LOT of money buying 10 year Sylvanias before (that lasted about 4-5 years, less than an incandescent) at $25/pc and could NOT match them, even with Sylvanias 'new improved' leds so I learned my lesson already. Buy bright and buy bulk at the best price you can find, these led lights are all or nothing and won't dim like an incandescent before failing. I've replaced other leds that were 3 years old with ones from the same 'batch/mfg' and they looked exactly the same as the other 3 year old bulbs next to them in terms of color and brightness. ... show more

I have no idea if these are actually as energy efficient as they are rated or how long they will last. But the quality of the light is good and crisp and they are very bright.     • It works well
We have 2 lights over our fireplace and one died, and the other is going. I bought this four-pack and just replace one so far. The new one works as good as it can. We have an old-style dimmer on them, which does not work well with newer bulbs. They flicker and the dimmer kinda starts-n-stops a lot. It was awful with our old pig-tailed fluorescent bulbs. It is better with this LED, but I will still have to buy a new dimmer and replace it. They provide a list of dimmer switch brands that they have tested and work well with them, so I am going to use that list. The nice thing is that list is on Amazon and easy to use. First off, I keep my shopping list on my cell phone, so, when I find myself at Lowe’s or HDepot, I will check my Lowe’s/HD list and then go to my Amazon app, check my orders, if it’s been awhile (which happens to me often, and I probably won’t get around to this quickly either), so if the bulbs are not at the top of my list, then I can easily just search my orders for “light bulbs” and easily have the list of tested bulbs handily with me, easy to access and a “complete” list it is. Oh, the easier thing for me to do would be to just purchase a dimmer from Amazon while sitting on my recliner. Ok guys, now that we have that all figured out, let’s kick this Laz-boy back and see what happens. I will try to remember to update this later after I execute my quaint little plan above. Pls feel free to remind me if you read this and it stops right here. Just respond to me and ask how the new dimmer works with the new bulbs. I should have this done by, let’s see, by 4/1/2023.
