    • Seems like a good quality electric blanket, but rather frustrating
I appreciate Sunbeam coming through with a smart electric blanket. Just what I need for my 92-year old mom who is cold natured, so even when it is upper 70s in the house, she complains about being cold. I could not find any other competitive product. However, it is a big disappointment there are restrictions on how it can be used as a smart blanket. It will not allow the setting to be above 4 (out of 10) unless you press a physical button on the blanket. What is the purpose of this being a smart blanket if you have to use the remote? While it is for safety reasons, there really needs to be a way to override these safety measures. It is such a disappointment, I'm tempted to rate this as 2 stars, but considering there are no alternatives, I'll rate this as a 4. ... show more

    • Well I did love it while it worked
I loved this blanket almost obsessively and used it almost every night of cool weather until it just totally stopped heating up at all about 8 months into use. I tried every way to trouble shoot it. The blanket was used on my bed, carefully plugged in with the cord running under the bed, so not stressed in anyway. I tried resetting it, unplugging and replugging the cord at the blanket and multiple outlets. It says it’s heating up but never actually does. I got the blanket in April of 2022, but mid December 2022 it stopped working. Four of those months were warm weather so, I really only got about four months of use out of it. It was supposed to be warranteed, I contacted the seller and was told I was eligible for replacement, then given the run around for months saying that the warehouses needed to be checked for stock. Eventually I was told there wasn’t any in stock but that I would receive a refund instead. That was a month ago. I’ve been navigating a family death and some ongoing health issues myself so I only just circled back to my messages. No refund was ever issued and clearly the product is in stock since I can order a brand new one right now from the same seller…. Soooo…. Yeah… eff that. Super disappointed. I really loved this blanket and it was a major part of my self care and pain management. I reccomended it to a lot of others. Widly disappointed right now. ... show more

This product could’ve easily been twice the price so if you can find one under $60, you make sure you grab it. just make sure you’re gentle with it because it is a sensitive product and if you bend any of the coils for heating, then your blanket is done for.

    • Sunbeam blanket heats well!
This electric blanket gets really warm if you want it to. It can be controlled through the Sunbeam app to preheat each side independently and to heat for specific times independently as well. The material is a very cozy plush fabric. We really love it.

Very disappointed. It only heats if there's a heavy blanket on top of it. The blanket from Walmart works better.

Having smart home for the last 7 year, I was so happy to see this item. Not so smart after all. If you set a schedule or turn it on with the app, you still have to press a button on the controller within 1 hr or it turns off. Must be on same WiFi to control it. About 4-6 inches down the center of the blanket is not heated. Controller only goes to 10. So it’s not as hot as those that go to 20. You can’t set a time to turn off. You must set a start time and how long to run. I have connected it to my Alexa. Got this the first week of January. ... show more
