This is a first impression review as we just received these yesterday. We've had some outdoor roll-up solar shades for several years and the end caps frequently slip off during breezy weather causing the shade to unmoor and flap around, sometimes to the extent that the horizontal support pole flies out of the casing. This had impacted the brackets such that a few had cracked and we ended up having to use other means to anchor the shades. To be clear - this was breezy weather and not high winds. This set comes with the end cap, bungee, and bracket. At first glance it looked like the end cap was too thick but it has grooves on the sides that allow it to slip onto the horizontal support pole. It was a snug fit that required some light tapping to get it fully in place. I don't think it's going to budge. The one possible week point may be the place where the bungee attaches as this is also made of plastic and part of the end cap whereas our prior caps had a ring threaded through the end cap plastic which gave the bungee some extra give.
