Description
The Vestil HOP-LP low-profile parts hopper is made of steel, has fork pockets and four caster wheels, and can be used under heavy machinery or elsewhere to collect and move small parts. Fork pockets enable the hopper to be picked up, moved, and dumped using a forklift truck (sold separately). The hopper is made of 10-gauge steel, which is stronger than aluminum and more resistant to fractures than cast iron. Gauge is a measure of thickness (the lower the gauge, the thicker the material). The caster wheels measure 2 inches wide and 4 inches in diameter and are made of glass filled nylon, which is resistant to impacts, wear, and corrosion and can support heavy loads. Two of the wheels swivel for maneuverability and have brakes to keep the hopper from rolling. The push handle can be removed to use the hopper without it. This hopper has a volume of 1/2 cubic yard and a load capacity of 2,000 lb. It weighs 365 lb. and measures 33-5/8 x 29-13/16 x 54 inches (H x W x D). (H is height, the vertical distance from lowest to highest point; W is width, the horizontal distance from left to right; D is depth, the horizontal distance from front to back.)
