I can never get my gas chainsaw going as seldom as I use it. I already had a SunJoe mover and SnowJoe blower that I was happy with and thought I would give this a try. I have 2 sets of batteries already so I only got the saw. I was through a maple and pine tree before I barely even put in the second set of batteries. I would say a single battery set should easily do just about any tree. I cannot say how easy it is to simply do some trimming with this. ... show more

Excellent for light duty around the yard. No problem cutting 14 inch logs. The key is a sharp chain. It’s not a powerful gas saw but is perfect for 90% of the homeowners requirements.

For a battery powered chainsaw, I have to say I was pretty surprised by this product! So far the largest tree I’ve taken down with it was just over 18” in diameter. Took down an old black walnut and made quick work cutting the tree down to firewood size, although I did have to charge the batteries twice to get through the complete job. However this wasn’t the end of the world, gave me time to work on some other things. Only thing I would say is don’t bring this into the woods expecting to get a day of work out of it, great for close to the homestead and every day work, but for those bigger trees and clearing jobs I’d bring a gas powered. ... show more
