As a icy bleached blond, this shampoo is essential for hair maintenance. I have tried a lot of different brands of purple shampoo and keep coming back to this one. Unlike many options, it is not drying. I also only have to leave it on for a few minutes to get noticeable results. My only complaint is that it is a little hard to rinse out. This is a great shampoo for getting the chlorine/salt/sand out of your hair if a swimmer/surfer, as well as a good quick clean; it’s a bit runny and is definitely for a quicker rinse to stave off the elements. I truly believe this is as good as the Oribe blonde shampoo, at a tenth of the cost. I will say that the bottle shape is VERY annoying- the open/shut aspect of the yellow top has gotten damaged/broken off of 70% of the bottles I have purchased [from local stores in Encinitas, from Amazon, from Target, etc] and, I have recently thrown one away in frustration as a result of it leaking from where the yellow lid connects to the purple bottle. I do believe the benefits of the product far outweighs the packaging glitches- just don’t store it directly on marble/granite/lighter stone because it will stain. ... show more
